The Lion King is a 1994 American animated feature film produced por Walt disney Feature Animation. Released to theaters on June 15, 1994 por Walt disney Pictures,[2] it is the 32nd film in the Walt disney Animated Classics. The story, which was influenced por the Bible stories of Joseph and Moses, the Epic of Sundiata, and the William Shakespeare play Hamlet, takes place in a kingdom of anthropomorphic lions in Africa.[4] The Lion King is the fifth highest-grossing animated film and continues to be the highest-grossing hand drawn animación film in history[5] and belongs to an era known as the disney Renaissance.[6]

The Lion King is the highest-grossing 2D animated film of all time in the United States,[7] and received positive reviews from critics, who praised the film for its música and story and has been called one of the best films of all time. During its release in 1994, the film grossed más than $783 million worldwide, becoming the most successful film released that year, and it is currently the 26th highest-grossing feature film ever.

Now, I'm not saying that The Lion King 2: SImba's Pride doesn't have some problems. Because it does. I'm only saying that I don't think it has plot holes. Most of the following arguments I originally publicado at imdb message board in a debate, as VampireOutlaw.

You see, if something that's left untold does not affect the plot at all, then it's not a hole in the story but only something that could be further explained just for the interest of it.
I'm starting to think this film does not have plot holes at all - that its only continuity problem is that they remade the ceremony scene and the cub's...

Pride Rock appeared menacing in the dark of midnight, black clouds circling the structure. The air stood completely still, along with the tall grass. Then, in the blink of an eye, it all changed. Cristal drops of rain turned to giant diamonds, shattering on the savannah ground. The still air turned into frightening winds, blowing away branches from trees.
