There is the original anime but it was aired in 1989 O_O so its pretty old *laughs* other than that I wouldn't know *shrugs*

Yes, there's an anime. It was aired with "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show" on Fridays, but it's not much based on the series.
Link and Zelda also appeared in an cartoon called "Captain N: The Game Master".
But both are unaired now, and I think it'll be hard to find.

I think is easier for tu to find "Captain N: The game Master" on the internet, but the characters look a bit weird.
