I would be completely against Rob Pattison but I'll give Jackson Rathbone a chance
although I highly dislike some of the other actors so the movie will have to be really good for me to like it

Yes!!!!! I think he will do a wonderful job. Jackson puts everything he has into every role that he plays and I know he will do a terrific job with Sokka...the dude should work on a tan before playing the part, but I guess we can't have everything.

Now I LOVE jackson Rathbone to death, but i'm very skeptical on his sokka. Now the only good thing about the trailers is when sokka jumps and shout 'wahoo'...thats the only thing closely related to the cartoon series i've seen. When i see that i think 'yes. sokka would do that.' Thats why I'm giving him a big chance.

He was horrible. I thought that he was the worst actor of everyone and really took away from the movie. Im not too thrilled about his acting in the Twilight series either. He seems to never change. Every role comes off with the same personality and stiffness.

He's cute, he's a great actor, he'll do great! :)

I pretty much blame M. Night, sinse he was the directer. I know Jackson has humar in him, but the humar side of Sokka was wiped out because M. Night thought it wouldn't be realistic in the story-line. Which actually by doing that, unbalanced the film.

His acting was horrible, actually. I was very displeased. I can't say I wanted to waste money on seeing Twilight, so I wouldn't know if he's a good actor in those films.. but if he was, it didn't show well here.

i don't mind about the looking, i just didn't feel Sokka's personality in him, 'the meat and sarcasm' guy

I think they could have done better...
