I hated the action, but not him. The mind of the Joker is a complex and layered thing, so I can't really say he wasn't in his 'right mind' and I can't make any excuses for him. On one hand, I can understand why. He wanted to prove that anyone can lose their sanity- he wanted to show them all that none of them can over come an unbalance once it happens.

The reason, I can understand. I don't agree with how he tries to prove things, but it 'is' a part of who he is. So really, it doesn't make me love him any less.
