Who does Katniss amor Gale o Peeta?

I know Katniss describes Gale as an older brother but she automatical runs up to him and hugs him. Then with Peeta she puts it on for the cameras.

I think that she loves Gale but Peeta is on her mind. She's kind of slowly falling for him.

In the end I don't think its a matter of who she loves, she loves both, there is so many types of love, stages, maturities, some are knock tu off your feet kind of love, some are friends for life, and some are the kind that are so subtle that tu don't realize it until tu are sitting alone realizing tu miss one person so much it just knocks tu over the head, it sneaks up on tu like where-the-EFF-did-that-come-from kind of love. She is going to be torn in two.

Yea, well Gale wasn't chosen for the Hunger Games, so how could he be there? Plus Katniss was pretending to like him for most of the Hunger Games. Sorry to be a hater ... I think that she does like him alittle, but right now she just likes Gale alittle más o is too confused about her feelings for Peeta.

He saved her life. THEEEEEEEN Katniss met Gale and later...the Games. Peeta proved himself to be strong and independent both mentally and physically (though he was pretty noisy... XD). But 22 people died in that arena, and tu become a lot closer to someone after something like that than tu do when hunting a wee wittle wabbit.

(By the way. Peeta and Katniss's kiss in "Catching Fire...was SO HAWT. I was freaking out, thinking maybe they'll do más than make out (this time)! ...but then Finnick just HAD to wake up....) <3

I like them both. In their own ways, both characters have something to offer for Katniss...and it's not that Katniss is even perfect. For me though...I feel that Gale is better able to find another girl. He's attractive whereas Peeta has been described as a little pudgy, growing up as a baker's son. He has less of a chance to mover on. Gale is emotionally and physically stronger...and therefore, I think, más able to maintain a loving relationship with Katniss YET let her go.

She does amor Gale. She loves Peeta too. Her mother, sister, other opponents...Katniss loves everybody with the exception of President Snow. She proves her amor through her sacrificial acts and risky means to protect others and small gestures of vulnerabilitykindnness. She is capable of loving all people. Her amor is not only reserved for Gale. That's only my opinion. I respect yours. And I agree to an extent.

He WAS going to say "I amor you". Katniss, for some reason, did not understand that. (Pfft. Whatever.) Anyways, katniss thought about their relationship (a lot!) in the first book and no, she did not WANT Gale before she returned from the Games. Peeta did not "completely ruin" their relationship, because Katniss wanted it to be a brother-sister, best friends package. (Guess she was waiting for Mr. Right AKA Peeta the whole time!!!) The only reason why they were kinda screwy in "Catching Fire" was because Gale was jealous and Katniss felt guilty.

totally agree :) she loves both peeta and gale, but when she says she's chosen gale in CF i don't think she's actually come to her final decision because even though she "chose" gale she still thought about peeta a lot and had to remind herself that she chose gale. and i also think that she'll realize that she's in amor with peeta in CF, and gale will probably find someone else.

none of them can die. If Gale dies, and she ends up with Peeta, she'll be second-guessing herself and be guilty for her entire life. and vise versa with Peeta dying. She has to make this decision on her own and for sure know how she feels o else she's just going to be confused for her entire life.

I agree. I noticed that too. Peeta and KAtniss will end up together. Suzanne Collins can't write a book about how peeta goes everywhere with katnis and then she just goes back to gale. I mean, that's just bad writing. If she wanted gale and katniss to end up together, she would have had gale go with katniss to the hunger games.

Well theoratically it is not Haymitches fault because from the very beginning Peeta loved Katniss. But then again Gale could have loved Katniss from the very begining also, so . . . . who knows? Only Ms. Collins knows and she may add a twist to it!

I felt after lectura the first book that she already had feelings for Peeta. The movie doesn't reflect the book in that sense because of time restraints and it is also shown in the movie that she is starting to have feelings for him.

As for Peeta, I think it took a long time for even Katniss to figure out her feelings for him. When they meet up for the 74th games I think she doesnt want to get too close to him o to trust him because she knows that for one of them to live the other has to die. I think on some level she loved him ever since he gave her the bread. Even Gale admits that she kissed Peeta in a way that she never kissed Gale. People could say that it was just for show, but since it has been established that she is not a good actress, I dont think so. Plus, if tu read Mockingjay then tu know how that ends.

Read the last book tu find out everything. katniss and peeta end up together and get married. tu could tell at the end of hunger games even though she says she faking feelings for him she really is starting to fall for peeta. she never loved gale that way she loved him like a brother and nothing más and he new that. katniss falls in amor with peeta because of everything they went through together and how he would risk his life to save hers and how different their personalities are. peeta and gale both loved katniss but peeta had a much stronger amor for her than gale. and peeta and katniss always had a much deeper conection/chemistry with each other without even knowing it. in the first book everyone should have known they would end up together and everyone should have wanted them together.

Also, what I don't understand is how such a strong and Valiente girl like Katniss can end up with a.. baker. I know a lot of people think "Peeta" is hot, idk whether that has to do with who was cast to play him in the move, but Gale is described as the handsome, tale guy por everyone. I personally never felt a chemsitry between her and Peeta and they did not share anything in common, besides the hunger games, and that was not por their choice. Regardless of who she needed at the end, I will never find the amor story of a strong Valiente woman falling in amor with a baker romantic lol That's probably why I never liked Peeta.. He honestly just comes off a wimp.. the furthest thing from Katniss.
