Is Cinna still alive?

About the end of Catching Fire, Cinna creates a dress for Katniss that turns into a mockingjay. Right before she leaves for the Quarter Quell Games, Peacekeepers come and attack him. Is he still alive??

In Catching Fire, it just says he is taken por some peacekeeper, but I hope to God he isn't dead. He is Katniss's comfort and advisor. If he was killed off, that would ruin the third book. I don't think that Suzanne Collins will disappoint.

Yes, that was my conclusion too. I think they'll make him an avox in case Katniss survives, to make her suffer more.

I hope they rescue Cinna and Peeta, but I kinda hope Johanna dies. =X She was so mean to Katniss all the time and I just don't like her attitude!

That's really not a reason for wanting someone's death. Remember that they fight against the Capitol together.
