Can male volunteer to take the place of a girl tribute during the reapings. . ?

Sadly No. tu must have one boy as one girl tribute.
But if tu wanted to help save a person of the opposite gender tu could volunteer for the tribute of your same gender.

that would imply two male tributes from a district in the games, and that doesnt work out. the same goes for a female volunteering for a boy.
that would be absurd.

No for there must be 1 female and 1 male tributes.
It'll probably work if 1 female volunteer(wanting to help male contestant) and 1 male volunteer (wanting to help female contestant) make a deal to volunteer for same gender contestant if other dose the same.
But no way can there be 2 people of the same gender (and district)enter the Hunger Games.

Nope. It'll be unfair for the other districts to have victors of two boys o two girls. They want 12 boys and 12 girls every año (2 from each district) no exceptions!

No because the rules of the Hunger Games is ONE male tribute and ONE girl tribute go into the games from each district so no....they state that right in the beginning of the book and movie!

I doubt they'd accept it, because they couldn't ensure that there'd be another opposite gender volunteer for the other tribute. They'd want to keep the balance of one male and one female tribute per district per year.
