The Host to be made a Movie. 

lol. i was literally just about to post this =D and i was just checking to see if anyone had put it up already =D lol.

but so happy theres gunna be a movie!! now all we need are some sequels!!

Im soooo excited for the host Sam elliott should totally be Jeb he seems like a perfect fit.

My friends think I'm crazy for reading this book twice, but u've probably read it more times than that. Always wanted to see The Host movie. I knew it was coming around. Eventually.

I've read it 6 times now, can't wait for the movie <3

I think Hannah Taylor Gordon would make the most wonderful Melanie Stryder! She's exaaaaaactly how I picture her in the book and is a wonderful actress too...PERFECT! link

I don;t know if she would be my first choice, but I think she could do the job all the same.

I'd much prefer it if the actress cast as Mel wasn't already a super well known celebrity that can't act like Megan Fox...not only does it make it hard to suspend your disbelief when they're already splashed all over the tabloids but I really want an actress of weight and substance to play Mel and do her justice and not just do a job! That's why I think the casting of Hannah Taylor Gordon would be sooo good just like the casting of Kristen Stewart in Twilight. Fingers crossed!

Oh, I agree. I do NOT want Megan Fox to play her. I think an actress who hasn't been splashed all over hollywood would be great! I just mean that I don't know if I would choose her first. Maybe Mary Elizabeth Winstead or maybe Charity Shea. Maybe. But I haven't thought too much about it.

I agree too, Megan Fox would be a BIG mistake!!! Also I'm really over the suggestion Sophia Bush...i don't think she's right for the part either :( I love the suggestion of Hannah Taylor Gordon for the part of Mel though...so refresing! She's beautiful and having looked up some of her work, definitely has the acting street cred and strength of character to play Mel! I found this footage of when she did Anne Frank when she was younger...link Clearly a great actress, even then! No wonder she was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy.
