Starting school in two weeks... Wow, can't believe it! Where I used to live sixth grade is already middle school, so going into seventh grade won't be difficult in that respect, but getting used to my surroundings... Meh. Post please! None of my favorite fics are posting - they're all on 'hold', so I'm counting on you girls to help me out here. Anyway, hope everyone I don't know is having a great summer (and continues having one) and school year!

You can always check out some of my other completed stories while you're waiting for others to get off hold. Its Rainbow's turn BTW so we're waiting for her. She should post soon though. If she doesn't post by Wednesday I'll upload a chapter again.

school starts tomorrow, so ill try to get the post mostly finished by tonight. ill probably post tomorrow after school.

After a 2 hour break, thanks to Conner, Leo, Jake, and Chris for causing a hectic food fight, everybody filed back into the main living room. When no one made a move to pick up the book, Piper sighed and started reading.
I came shore next to a floating McDonold’s.
A block away, every emergency vehicle in St. Louis was surrounding the Arch. Police helicopters circled ahead.
Leo scratched his head. “How come I never heard of this?”
Piper rolled her eyes sarcastically. “Maybe because you were running away from the police?”
“Oh, right.”
The crowd of onlookers reminded me of Times Square on New Year’s Eve.
A little girl said, “Mama! That boy walked out of the river.”
“Busted,” Conner said.
”That’s nice dear,” her mother said, craning her neck to watch the ambulnces.
“But he’s dry!”
“That’s nice, dear.”
Percy grinned. “Or not.”
Conner glared at Percy and gave him the finger.
A news lady was talking for the camera: “Probably not a terrorist arrack, we’re told, but it’s still very early in the investigation. The damage, as you can see, is very serious. We’re trying to get to some of the survivors, to question them about eyewitness report of someone falling from the Arch.”
Jason said, “Good to know you didn’t cause the death of bystanders.”
[b]Maybe the park ranger and that family made it out safely. I hoped Annabeth and Grover were okay. I tried to push through the crowd to see what was going on inside the police line.
“…an adolescent boy,” another reporter was saying. “Channel Five has learned that surveillance cameras show an adolescent boy going wild on the observation deck, somehow setting off this freak explosion. Hard to believe, John, but that’s what we’re hearing. Again no confirmed fatalities…”
“Well,” Frank said, “that doesn’t sound too good. At least not for you, Percy.”
Percy nodded his head in agreement. “Nope. It’s definitely not good.”
I backed away, trying to keep my head down. I had to go a long way around the police perimeter. Uniformed officers and news reporters were everywhere. I’d almost lost hope of ever finding Annabeth and Grover when familiar voice bleated, “Perrr-cy!”
Piper looked at Grover. “Is that how you say that?”
Grover looked embarrassed. “Well… you need to add a bit of a goat bleat to it…”
“Sorry, but I’m not a goat. I’ll just to the best I can.”
“O-ok…”
I turned and got tackled by Grover’s bear hug-or goat hug.
Jake pointed at Percy and gave a short sarcastic laugh. “Haha… I see what you did there…” He faltered when he realized everyone was looking at him weirdly. “Just keep reading.”
He said, “We thought you’d gone to Hades the hard way!”
Annabeth stood behind him, trying to look angry, but even she seemed relieved to see me.
“Of course I was relieved,” Annabeth said, shocked that Percy found that was surprising. “Why wouldn’t I?”
Percy fiddled with his short. “Well… we weren’t exactly getting along back then…”
“Shut up Seaweed Brain.” Annabeth leaned over and gave Percy a kiss. Looking sideways, she felt a flutter of joy when she saw the jealousy burning in Reyna’s eyes. Serves you right, she thought.
“We can’t leave you along for five minutes! What happened?”
“I sort of fell.”
“Sort of? Percy!” Hazel cried.
Percy smiled sheepishly. “Told you the fall from the glacier was nothing.”
Annabeth blinked. “Wait. What did you say? You fell from a glacier? What?”
“Uh…” Percy gulped. “You’ll find out later. Hehe.”
Nico raised an eyebrow. “Dude, I don’t think Annabeth is too happy about that answer.”
Sure enough, Annabeth’s face was turning red, and it was not a good sign for Percy..
“Okay!” Percy said, standing up. “Fine. I’ll tell you.”
Annabeth followed Percy out of the room.
“Alright,” Piper said, filling in the silence. “Who wants to read?”
Thalia shrugged ad took the book.
Nico gasped. “Th-Thalia is reading?”
WHACK!!
“Ow,” Nico touched his black eye. “I never knew a book hurts so much. I’m gonna have to get some ice. Be right back.”
Thalia smiled. “That worked.”
“Percy! Six hundred and thirty feet?”
Behind us, a cop shouted, “Gangway!” The crowd parted, and a couple of paramedics hustled out, rolling a woman on a stretcher. I recognized her immediately as the mother of the little boy who’d been on the observation deck. She was saying, “And then this huge dog, this huge fire-breathing Chihuahua-“
“Okay, ma’am,” the paramedic said. “Just calm down.”
Jason sighed. “No one ever believes us. Stupid mortals.”
Rachel had been so quiet everyone was shocked to hear her get up angrily. “Excuse me? Are you calling me stupid?”
“N-no. I meant general mortals. You and s-some others are an exception.”
Thalia added happily, “Like Percy’s mom!” She tossed the book to her brother. “You read.”

It's short but at least I finished chapter 14.

Jason didn’t want to but agreed to read, mostly because his sister scares him.
Your family is fine. The medication is starting to kick in.”
“That’ll help,” Will said confidently.
“I’m not crazy! This boy jumped out of the hole and the monster disappeared.” Then she saw me. “There he is! That’s the boy!”
“This can’t be good,” Nico decided.
They all nodded their head in agreement.
I quickly turned and pulled Annabeth and Grover after me. We disappeared into the crowd.
“What’s going on?” Annabeth demanded. “Was she talking about the Chihuahua on the elevator?”
“Not a Chihuahua,” Grover shuddered.
“Oh, are you scared of a little doggie?” Conner asked in a baby voice.
“Frank?” Grover asked Frank who nodded.
The next thing they knew in Frank’s old spot was a brown and white Chihuahua. He scrambled off the couch and made a dash for the son of Hermes. The next thing everyone knew Conner Stoll was bit . . . by a Chihuahua . . . where the sun doesn’t shine.
Connor screamed until Frank released and went back to the couch and even then Connor laid on the floor whimpering. His hands were cradling his crown jewels and groaning at the pain. Every guy in the room was copying the son of Hermes only imagining the pain he must be in, well except Frank.
“Thank you,” Grover thanked the son of Mars who left to go bleach his mouth.
“Just continue,” Travis told Jason while looking at his brother who was still in immense pain.
I told them the whole story of the Chimera, Echidna, my high-dive act, and the underwater lady’s message.
“Whoa,” Grover said. “We’ve got to get you to Santa Monica! You can’t ignore a summons from your dad.”
Suddenly Annabeth and Percy returned to the room and noticed Connor lying on the ground holding his privates.
“Uh, what happened?” Percy asked.
“Whatever it was, he probably deserved it,” Annabeth decided.
He agreed with his girlfriend and they sat back on the couch to listen ignoring the son of Hermes’ pain.
Before Annabeth could respond, we passed another reporter doing a news break, and I almost froze in my tracks when he said, “Percy Jackson. That’s right, Dan. Channel Twelve has learned that the boy who may have caused this explosion fits the description of a young man wanted by authorities for a serious New Jersey bus accident three days ago. And the boy is believed to be traveling west. For our viewers at home, here is a photo of Percy Jackson.”
“This can’t be good,” Piper guessed.
Annabeth, Grover, and Percy simultaneously shook their heads.
“No, it was not,” Annabeth stated.
We ducked around the news van and slipped into an alley.
“First things first,” I told Grover. “We’ve got to get out of town!”
Somehow, we made it back to the Amtrak station without getting spotted. We got on board the train just before it pulled out for Denver. The train trundled west as darkness fell, police lights still pulsing against the St. Louis skyline behind us.
“Chapter 15 is titled A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers,” Jason read before tossing the book to Hazel.
