“Let’s continue,” Percy said grabbing the book. He really wanted to get to the bathroom battle with Clarisse.
To reach his goal, he must first demonstrate great courage as succeeding as a keeper, finding a new camper and bringing him to Half-Blood Hill.”
“Technically, he did that,” Thalia said.
“Both times,” Percy agreed nodded.
“But he did that!” “I might agree with you,” Chiron said. “But it is not my place to judge. Dionysus and the Council of Cloven Elders must decide. I’m afraid they might not see this assignment as a success. After all, Grover lost you in New York. Then there’s the unfortunate . . . ah . . . fate of your mother. And the fact that Grover was unconscious when you dragged him over the property line. The council might question whether this shows any courage on Grover’s part.”
“Well when he puts it like that,” Rachel said, smiling sheepishly at Grover.
“I know just say I was a horrible keeper,” Grover groaned.
“Yeah, but look at you now, dude.” Percy said trying to cheer his friend up. “I mean you’ve found Pan, you’re Lord or the Wild, and you’re on the Council of Cloven Elders. If you ask me I say that makes you a really good satyr.”
“Percy’s right,” Annabeth said.
Everyone, including Percy, gasped.
“Please, say that again!” Percy said smiling.
“No!”
“Please!”
“No, my point is, you’ve also found the four most powerful demigods and three of them have managed to survive. What’s that tell you?”
Grover still seemed a bit stunned about the ‘Percy being right’ comment. He shook his head before answering, “That I’m a good satyr.”
“The best,” Thalia and Nico said at the same time.
Satyrs are actually better than fauns, Reyna thought sulkily.
I wanted to protest. None of that was Grover’s fault. I also felt really, really guilty. If I hadn’t given Grover the slip at the bus station, he might not have gotten in trouble.
“Knowing you he still would have,” Frank joked.
“Hey!”
“He’ll get a second chance, won’t he?”
A few people winced. Some looked down sadly. And others just looked plain confused (you could probably guess which ones).
Chiron winced. “I’m afraid that was Grover’s second chance, Percy. The council was not anxious to give him another, either, after what happened the first time, five years ago. Olympus know, I advised him to wait longer before trying again. He’s still so small for his age . . .”
Grover blushed embarrassed.
“How old is he?” “Oh, twenty-eight.”
“So, you’re thirty-three now,” Leo guessed.
Piper gasped. “Oh My Gods! Leo did math! Correctly!”
A few people snickered.
“We’ll see about that, Beauty Queen,” Leo muttered quietly so no one heard him.
“What! And he’s in the sixth grade?”
“That’s horrible!” Rachel said.
“Tell me about it,” Grover snorted.
“How long have you been in there?
“Six years,” Grover answered stiffly.
“Satyrs mature half as fast as humans, Percy. Grover has been the equivalent of a middle school student for the past six years.” “That’s horrible.”
“That’s what I said,” Rachel agreed, high-fiving Percy.
“Quite,” Chiron agreed. “At any rate, Grover is a late bloomer, even by satyr standards, and not yet very accomplished at woodland magic. Alas, he was anxious to peruse his dream. Perhaps now he will find some other career . . .”
“He had so much faith in me, didn’t he?” Grover said sarcastically.
“I bet he regrets it now,” Thalia said.
“Yeah,” Grover said, still sounding miffed.
“That’s not fair,” I said. “What happened the first time? Was it really bad?”
“Yup,” Grover said sadly.
Chiron looked away quickly. “Let’s move along, shall we?”
Percy was about to continue when suddenly there was a flash of a blinding light. When everyone opened their eyes they saw a big, one eyed Cyclopes, wearing a Camp Half-Blood T-shirt. His big brown eye widened when he saw them.
“Brother!”

Hey guys!! Sorry, but I have 3 more days of vacation. sorry kaylee. I hope its not too much work cor u.

“Tyson? What are you doing here?” Percy asked, before getting tackled into a bear hug by his brother. “Ow! The ribs! OW!”
Tyson quickly released. “Sorry, brother.”
“Its fine,” Percy said amused as Tyson gave Annabeth, Rachel, even Grover a bear hug.
“What happen?” Tyson asked sitting next to Frank.
“We’re reading books about Percy’s adventures,” Annabeth told him.
“Yay! We get to read about Annabeth, peanut butter, and how brother makes things go BOOM,” Tyson said clapping happily.
“You’ve gotta love Tyson,” Travis whispered to Conner.
“Yeah, things are never boring with him around,” Conner agreed.
“Plus he helps us pull pranks,” Chris added.
But I wasn’t ready to let the subject drop. Something had occurred to me when Chiron talked about mother’s fate, as if he were intently avoiding the word death. The beginnings of an idea-a tiny, hopeful fire-started forming in my head.
“Uh-oh,” Everyone who knows Percy groaned.
“Chiron,” I said. If the gods and Olympus and all that are real . . .” “Yes, child?” “Does that mean the Underworld is real, too?”
“Well, I hope so,” Nico said.
Chiron’s expression darkened. “Yes, child.” He paused, as if choosing his words carefully. “There is a place where spirits go after death. But for now . . . until we know more . . . I would urge you to put that out of your mind.”
“What does he mean ‘until we know more’?” Leo asked.
Clarisse snorted at the next sentence in the book that she’d managed to take after Tyson appeared.
“What do you mean ‘until we know more’?”
Leo blushed as everyone else cracked up.
“Come, Percy. Let’s see the woods.” As we got closer, I realized how huge the forest was. It took up at least a quarter of the valley, with trees so tall and thick, you could imagine nobody had been in there since the Native Americans.
“Yeah, like all Native American forests are stocked with Greek monsters,” Jake teased.
Chiron said, “The woods are stocked, if you care to try your luck, but go armed.”
“Stocked with what?” Hazel asked curious.
Clarisse snorted again.
“Stocked with what?” I asked. “Armed with what?” “You’ll see. Capture the flag is Friday night. Do you have your own sword and shield?”
“Did he seriously just ask that?” Rachel asked, laughing lightly.
“My own-?” “No,” Chiron said. “I don’t suppose you do. I think a size five will do. I’ll visit the armory.”
“Mmmhmm, the armory,” Clarisse said dreamily.
Everyone scooted away from her.
I wanted to ask what type of summer camp had an armory, but there was too much to think about, so our tour continued.
“Were you really that dumb?” Jason asked.
“I was still in shock,” Percy said defending himself.
“At least he didn’t think his parent had to do with Star Trek,” Piper grinned, glancing at Leo.
Everyone busted out laughing.
“Are you serious?” Frank asked.
“Yeah, I was the first person he said it to,” Will smirked.
*Cue Face palm*
We saw the archery range, the canoeing lake, the stables (which Chiron didn’t seem to like very much), the javelin range, the sing-along amphitheater, and the arena where Chiron said they held sword and spear fights.
Our camp’s still better, Reyna thought.
“Sword and spear fights?” I asked.
“Like your and Clarisse’s fights,” Annabeth pointed out.
Percy and Clarisse glared at each other like they do when they battle.
“Cabin challenges and all that,” he explained. “Not lethal. Usually.
“Usually?” Hazel asked, raising an eyebrow.
Oh, yes, there’s the mess hall.” Chiron pointed to an outdoor pavilion framed in white Grecian columns on a hill overlooking the sea. There were a dozen picnic tables. No roof. No walls. “What do you do if it rains?” Chiron looked at me as if I’d gone a little weird.
“That’s the exact same look he gave me when I asked him that,” Nico said.
“We still have to eat, don’t we?” I decided to drop the subject. Finally, he showed me the cabins. There were twelve of them, nestled in the woods by the lake. They were arranged in a U, with two at the base and five in a row on either side. And they were without a doubt the most bizarre collection of buildings I’d ever seen.
“What!” All of the cabin leaders said, glaring at Percy.
The only people who weren’t paying attention to the book was Travis who was annoying a very pissed off Katie.
“Please,” Travis begged.
“No,” Katie said.
“Please.”
“No.”
“Please.”
“No.”
“Please, why can’t you just make me some pancakes?” Travis asked desperately.
“If you want some so bad then you go make them,” Katie said.
“Why?”
“Because I’m not going to cook for you.”
“Fine.”
Only what Katie didn’t notice, was that while she was fighting with Travis, he managed to steal her wallet.
“I’m going to the bathroom,” Travis lied, standing up.
“Like we care,” Clarisse grumbled before he was out of earshot.
Conner must have noticed something off about Travis because he raised his eyebrow suspiciously at his brother but didn’t say anything, probably figuring that it wasn’t important.
When Travis was safely in the bathroom he pulled out Katie’s wallet and began searching for it. Luckily it was a small wallet so it was easy to find.
Time to see what Katie’s hiding, Travis thought writing down the number that was on the card.

Hey! I'm new to Fanpop but I love Rick Riordans books, but also this story! It's so funny, that my mum heard me giggling as I read it, even though she was far away. Keep posting the good work! Can't wait to read Clarisse's expression when there's gonna be the Bathroom Fight...
And another question: are you seriously gonna keep up like this for the whole eight books? Good Luck!
