LeoV44 I like your thoughts. My picks for the seven are: 1. Jason 2. Piper 3. Leo 4. Percy (It would only make sense to have both leaders of the two camps to be two of the seven. Plus, it's a flying boat that they'll go on. Percy can manage the boat when it's on sea. Jason can manage it when it's flying. And, Percy is one of the main characters in the Son of Neptune) 5. Annabeth (because Percy isn't going anywhere without her) 6. Frank (the one who is supposed to accompany Percy on the quest that is to come. It's written on the back cover of the book. See the links) 7. Hazel (same as above) So, as you can see, that's 7 demigods. 4 Greek demigods (Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Leo) and 3 Roman demigods (Jason, Frank, Hazel). AnnabethC Well, my official picks, after reading a TON of different theories are: 1. Jason 2. Piper 3. Leo 4. Annabeth 5. Percy 6. Frank 7. Hazel Hold on...let me find something... "Okay, now onto the problem of who the two Roman demigods (Frank and Hazel) are. Who are their godly parents? Well, according to the camp half-blood site, there will be a thing called Olympian week from October 4-10 where RR goes all over the country to a certain place to meet with a group of fans every day. Each location will be represented by a god. Indirectly, it states that the seven gods that will represent the seven locations are the parents of the seven demigods. I found this out by comparing what it said on Rick's blog to what it said on the camp half-blood site. On the blog, RR says that the 7 locations represent the seven DEMIGODS, while on the camp half-blood site (which IS official btw) it said that the location was based on the seven GODS. Now, this could have been just a coincidence, but when I looked at the gods, I knew it wasn't. The seven gods that were listed were: Athena, Ares, Hephaestus, Poseidon, Hades, Aphrodite, Zeus. Now, we all know about Zeus, Aphrodite, and Hephaestus. They're the parents of Jason, Piper, and Leo respectively. That's why I didn't just claim it as a coincidence. What are the chances that those three gods out of all the gods end up being on that list? Because they are the parents of Jason, Piper, and Leo, that's why. So, obviously, the other four gods are also the parents of the other four demigods. Poseidon is Percy for sure, seeing as we finally know that he's narrating 1/3 of the Son of Neptune, and he's the only option we know of, which only reinforces the point that it wasn't a coincidence. Then there's Athena, which I'm guessing is Annabeth. I have several reasons for this. First off: Annabeth said that she would be going with Jason and the others to the Roman camp when the boat was done. Then what? She's obviously not going to stay there. She's not going to go there and find Percy and be like 'Oh, you're okay! Now I'm going to go back to camp and you can go to Greece!'. Yeah, no. She'll probably tag along, mostly because I doubt she'd want to leave his side after not seeing him for six months. I doubt he would either. Besides, going to Greece would be her perfect opportunity to visit the Parthenon. Knowing Annabeth, she won't let something like that go, even if it is in the middle of a war. Now, that leaves Ares and Hades. Wow, that's tough. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Frank is Ares and Hazel is Hades. Or it could be the other way around. Piper0988 Okay, I have read the Son of Neptune, and this is my opinion on the seven... 1. Jason Grace (It said he would lead) 2. Leo Valdez (I just put him as 2 'cause he's so darn awesome) 3. Percy Jackson (It said Percy is second-in-command) 4. Piper McLean(Duh) 5. Hazel Levesque(She's totally part of the seven) 6. Frank Zhang (Same reason as Hazel) 7. Okay, this one, I'm not sure of... I don't think Annabeth will be part of the seven. The list above, is the definite seven, except the only unknown member is the seventh demigod. The reason I don't think Annabeth is the seventh is because she doesn't have a special power that individualizes her from her siblings. See, Jason has his flying/wind/lightning powers. We know that his flying is rare from Thalia, who couldn't. And Leo's fire resistance and fire powers are totally rare. Hands down rare. Piper's charmspeak isn't as rare as the fire, but it's a special power within the Aphrodite children. Hazel's power is already said. She could summon jewelry, make them go astray, and kill people by giving them gemstones. She can also summon underground tunnels, since she's a daughter of Pluto. Now, Frank's power... this one's totally coolio. He can shape-shift into any kind of creature. Because of his great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, Prince of Pylos, and he's a descendant of Poseidon, while at the same time being a son of Mars. Ain't that cool? So his power is even more rare than Leo's! As for Percy... there wasn't any other Poseidon children, so we don't know if he has any 'special powers' but we can only assume. Besides, Tyson couldn't make hurricanes, right? And so, the demigods we know of have rare gifts. But Annabeth doesn't have a rare gift, or a special power. And no, her wisdom doesn't count. Being smart or wisdom is a SKILL, not a POWER. But I do believe she will go on the voyage and fight in the war with them, just not being part of the seven. As much as I love Nico di Angelo, I don't think he's part of the seven, either. If you read the Son of Neptune, you'd know that he is MISSING and probably dead, since he searched for the Doors of Death, but failed imperviously and got held captive by Gaea. But, however, this is only one of the reasons. Another reason is that Hazel is already a daughter of Pluto, and... why have two? Especially when Hazel's powers are greater than his. She has the power to control everything under the earth, which is exactly what they need. AnnabethC: Oh, my gods, you were totally right! Hades and Ares are the parents of Hazel and Frank! Well, actually, it's Pluto and Mars. And you even got the guess right. Pluto is Hazel and Mars is Frank. Congrats! So... I hope I'm right. I'm actually really sure the seventh demigod is a son/daughter of Athena. Whether it's Annabeth or not... I'm not sure. Maybe, I hope this will happen, they will introduce a special power for Annabeth, thus she will become the seventh demigod. But there is also that possibility that another child of Athena will come in. Maybe. There are some people who think Luke Castellan (reborn) would be the seventh demigod. Absolutely, totally, completely, utterly NO. Gods, get over your fan love for Luke! Gods. First of all, if you are being reborn, you won't remember your past life. So even if the seventh demigod is Luke, he won't remember. Also, he's gonna look totally different. And when you're reborn, you can get any other life. He could be a mortal, an animal-- what are the odds of him being reborn into a demigod? And second of all, he just died recently, which means he would still be a baby, or a toddler. So the chances of Luke being the seventh demigod is BLEGAHDJSFSHUFHJBVS!!!

Poseidonskid98 I think it will be Percy, Jason, Annabeth and the other people like Piper Frank Nico Hazel Leo Reyna and a couple people that haven't even been introduced because you never know what the writer wants but I am for sure Percy and Jason. And it has to be Annabeth. Because if you think about it, the next book is mark of Athena. And who is Annabeths momma? That's right Athena. So it would make sense to have Annabeth because you know Percy and Annabeth where meant to be together. Since the whole Athena and Poseidon are enemies, but how Percy and Annabeth are meant to be together. So yeah. Oh and you never know instead of Nico you could get Hazel. Or the long forgotten Thaila (I think that is how you spell it idk) Jason's sister can't forget about her. And Frank. Or Mr. Riordan could go a completely different direction and all new characters in the next book you never know. All I know is that you can't leave out Percy and Jason or Annabeth or Grover but he really doesn't count. For certain Percy and Jason because Percy had a series of his own and a movie. And Jason has a lot going for him. But hey that is just what I think.
