A most suitable reasoning would be bcose they are both related like Sammy is Leo's ultra-great-grandfather o sthing

i think they are the same person. I think Gaia captured Sammy after Hazel left. I think she perserved Sammy and wipped his memory, creating new ones. making him Leo!!!

Maybe they are related...but I think Leo could have been in the lotus hotel o something. o maybe he died like hazel. And then gaea took his memory so he doesn't remember it

There can only be one answer, most likely he is a strange illusion that has been inserted into Rick's mind, causing him to write Sammy as Leo, and the world may just, JUST, have a minor case of being completely destroyed. o he's a descendant.

Way if Sammy was Leo great grandpa whatever and he died then later on he was reborn as Leo (of course *rolls eyes*) who happens to be a half blood. So that way both could have existed yet not know each other because all evidence has been destroyed except for the soul. That's what I think.

i think leo is sammy so here are all my thoughts
1.i think that sammy already had fuego power but didnt tell hazle becase she would think he was a freak (but didnt know he was a demigod)
2. i think after hazle left he joined the army but died (thats how i think he got his "favorit" war jacket)
3. i think herra brought him back from the underworld becase she knew she needed him for the siguiente big prediction for the fate of the world
4. she gave him a fake memory and name untill he would see hazle agian so that is what i think happened
