Was John Lennon a Christian?

I read this articulo but I still think that he is Cristianity. But he believe in magic and powerfull witches.

I doubt it. He wanted to think of a world with no religion so...

Remember John's answer to the media when he dicho the Beatles were más popular than Christ? During the interview with the writer, he dicho something along the line of "Religion will go". Any real Christian would not make that kind of statement, but that was one statement at one time. A real fan of John would admit he searched for most of his life for an "answer". He tried India, primal scream therapy, and other means to bet his answer, but I don't think ever found it. I would like to think he had turned to Christ towards the end of his life, even in a private manner. Maybe even as he lay dying in an ambulance. The answer to this pregunta will forever lay in John's heart.

He was probably born Christian, but I don't think he liked the idea of subscribing to any religion very much. I'm not really sure.
