Dean wouldn't like that, he would kick and scream, but in the end he would have no other choice cos there's no way he would refuse and let the world come to an end..i don't think he's gonna be an angel, he's safe on that department..besides, there needs to be one Winchester bro' who's still completely human...there's still the question lingering over how much humanity Sam still has..like Cas said in The Rapture, the amount of blood Sam would have to consume to kill Lilith would turn him into something Dean would hunt...now why say that if nothing was going to be done with that? of course, Cas could have lying but i don't believe he has ever lied about anything..just he's been vague at worst, only told Dean what was needed at the time, but i don't think he's ever lied..

I just can't see that happening without Kripke getting MAJOR backlash from the fans, and honestly from what he's said about season 5, I don't see it happening.

I don't think they are turning him into an angel. I think it wouldn't work. I can't see Dean taking orders from them. He does what he believes is right. But I think they will use him as a soldier. Just not an angel soldier.

I agree with you Lucy!I think that Dean might develop some angel powers just like Sam did with the demon blood.There must be a similar way to develop angelic qualities or simply Castiel might guide Dean to learn angelic tricks that he may use either against angels or against demons.

I'm caught between nope, and maybe only some tricks, 'cause I don't really see him as an angel, (like: Castiel angel;), but on the other side it could be like Sam, learning tricks, but not turning into it. But I sure don't hope so, it would kinda split the brothers, Sam is already infected by demon blood, and if Dean is going to be angel, it might be a really hard time for the brothers, don't think Dean would choose it anyway, only if it could save Sam or something like that.

Lucyyy!!! A new pick, yay!! I think your theory is as plausible as anyone's; after all, Sam didn't choose to be part-demon either. It was a result of demon interference, so who's to say the angels might not try something similar with Dean? I don't think we would see him as a full angel, though, just as I hope Sam will never be a full demon. :DD
