i think if Dean receives powers, they should be at a level where he can fight but not be invincible...i mean, angels aren't invincible as we've seen, so it's not like he'll take a hit of some angel juice and suddenly become immortal or unstoppable..it'll just mean he can hold up a greater fight against Lilith..again, it doesn't mean he'll be invincible, just stronger..

I don't think he will. I think the angels will expect him to fight all on his own, but i have this funny feeling that it will be sam who in the end wins the war, by taking down lilith and lucifer. But the idea of dean getting cas' grace is a good one, or maybe that cas uses dean as his vessel to help him?

I was torn between 'could be...' and 'yes'. From what we saw in 'SOON' (I don't know if I should mention details, but the question is marked as a SPOILER, so...............), Dean swearing allegiance to God (!!!!!), and Castiel touching his forehead like that seems to indicate that he does receive some kind of powers. I was like, "Well ho-lee!!" (And if he DOES, that would mean Sam was right, and he wasn't strong enough on his own, ;)...) Friday can't come fast enough! (Damn, I wish I got the show on Thursdays!!) :DD

Yeah I also think that when Castiel touches Dean he might give him some powers but under no circumstances his grace.It also might be a way to seal his allegiance to heaven but with no powers.Just guessing...

sounds cool...or if Dean dies again...he's surely becoming an angel..maybe dean is dying and Anna gives her grace to save him and then she gets killed and the bros go all out on each other next season...either way i think Anna is surely dying at some point.

I was watching Houses of the Holy the other day and everything that priest said about angels turned out to be false so far, so I wonder, can men really become angels? And what kind of authority does Castiel have to turn him into one? I don't think Dean will come with extra-batteries anytime soon. But it could happen, it is after all Supernatural!

as cool as that sounds...i wouldn't want that to happen, one of the many reasons why i love dean so much is because he is a mortal man with no powers in the middle of a battle between heaven and hell, all the while fighting for his brothers soul.
