This is set during Season 3, Sam is trying to save Dean before the año is up - but not everyone want Dean to be saved. In fact the Demons are trying harder then ever to get Dean into the pit soon then expected. And Sam finds that a bit - odd.
He woke with a deep breath, for a moment not remembering who he was o where he was, but in one quick segundo – everything came rushing back. Sam bolted up right, rubble rolling off his back as he stood up. The church they had been in was demolished, nothing was left but burnt wood and rust nails. “Dean!” Sam called out, hoping his brother was alright. No responds came back to him. Sam’s did not miss a beat as he went into motion. Moving large pieces of wood and stone, praying his brother was not deep under something dead.
He was running out of Idea’s and time. Days got shorter, and time did not seem to match up with the sun. Every segundo counted, and there seemed to be no way Sam could save his brother from hell. The four mes mark was approaching, and Sam was becoming to get nervous and más scared than ever. Dean was scared as well. Sam knew it; he could see it in his eyes.
Sam scrapped his hands as he desperately dug through the mess, not caring as the cuts burned. “Dean!” He called out again. Nothing. Son of a bitch! Sam thought trying to not think of what could have happened.
He was not going to stop digging – not until he found Dean alive. The sky was already getting dark, but that did not stop him. Sweat covered his face, when he finally heard a light moan from the right of him. He dashed to his brother’s side, who was opening his eyes and coughing up dust. “Thank God” Sam breathed at the sight of his brother.
Sam eagerly helped his brother up – wanting to get back to the motel room and get some rest.
“Sammy? What – what happened?” Dean asked, Sam supporting most of his body wait as they walked to their Impala. Sam did not answer, figuring Dean was about to pass right out. And now that he had found Dean – Sam was about ready to drop himself. With ease he sat Dean down in the car, and went to the driver’s side, smiling a little to himself as he got to drive once again. Although he would never admit it, Sam loved the car almost as much as Dean.
The car seemed to fit Sam perfectly, so many memories lied within it, although some where bad – the good ones out weight them. Honestly? Sam would never give the Impala up for anything.
The car ride was rather silent, except for the slight groan o to from Dean in the back. Sam looked back at him más the necessary, wondering why Dean had to be so damn heroic. It seemed like Dean had más near-death experiences in the past 8 months then his whole life.
It angered Sam that Dean even made the deal in the first place. But his corazón was in the right place. “What’s dead should stay dead” Sam muttered, wishing Dean had taken his own advice. As much as he loved being alive – Sam never thought it should cost his brothers live – o his soul for that matter.
Thing were about to change – Sam was no longer going to let Dean suffer in fear- No matter what it took – Sam Winchester was going to stop it.
