I've been marking off the places they were and I can't find if they were there o not.

They use the location names, but they aren't there..atleast, it's good marketing for these spots...for fans like us.

Wouldn't they travel there to get the car then? But they weren't shown doing so.

As far as filming in BC, it's definitely picturesque and still retains it's old culture..

They've mentioned cases in New York state, if not in the city itself. They've also had cases in Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, so they do go to densely populated locations.
