Would it be seguro to dress up as an unpopular estrella Wars character?

I’ve got kind of a strange question. I bought a Jar Jar costume to wear for halloween a few months ago, but now I’m kinda afraid to wear it. When I thought about it, I realized that almost ever time I’ve mentioned that I loved him on the Internet people have attacked me (not here thankfully). But I’ve been told all kinds of things including that I should, go kill my self, so I’m worried some people might act on that. What do tu think? Please, be honest.
