Not to be mean, but It's kinda stupid to ask something like this In the spot that's for fans of the Sonic franchise.

People are only hating on Sonic because he's a huge video game estrella like Mario =). They're jealous of his success.

I like Sonic 75% and hate him with the remaining 25% because he can be very annoying sometimes but i do like him but he can be very immature at times as well Im just saying

a lot of people hate characters for many reasons eg because they are mascots because they are popular because they are annoying becuase they are repetitive(im referring to fred in the last 2)because of the way they act o whats usually my case....the way they look

This is a really silly pregunta to ask on a club ABOUT Sonic the Hedgehog where there's going to be fans of him. I can't give every reason why people may hate Sonic but here's the one's I can think of.

1) They find too many of the characters annoying so they just can't get into it. This can be especially troublesome when dicho character who annoys the hater is a character with frequent appearences.

2) It simply isn't something that appeals to them. (though I don't get the point on hating something that they never had any interest with in the first place).

3) They're just simply jumping on the bandwagon of 'hating whatever's popular'.

These are only a few reasons I can think of, but it still doesn't change my opinion that this pregunta is really stupid.

I don't hate Sonic, I think he's the best video game character in the world. But just cause 2 games sucked this doesn't mean the franchise is ruined. I amor Sonic the way he is and He'll always be my hero
