smallville Do tu think that if Lex had let Lional die in Season 2 episode 1 Vortex, that he would have turned out differently? Like not as evil and más of a friend to Clark?

Actually I think it would be backwards. He would never let go the fact he let his father to die (at least then). I think Lex always had feelings for his father, he wanted Lionel to accept him the way he is, and just being his father. it was so many times Lex telling Clark how he envy him his relationship with Jonathan. Deep down Lex always wanted that good life..I think the only person who could fully change him was Lana, but unfortunately things between them went in all wrong direction in season 6...I wish writers didnt screw things up between them so much...
