Sirius Black died on June 17th, 1996. He died in battle, fighting to protect his beloved godson Harry James Potter, and for what he believed in. He was killed por his own cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange. He died too young, and during his shortened life he never was completely happy.
His childhood was spent in a house he loathed. His "family", whom later disowned him, had vistas that were drastically different from his own. They were pure-blood, and they supported Lord Voldemort. Sirius was very vocal about his hatred for the dark side and Voldemort. Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor. His whole family had been Slytherins. Gryffindor happens to be the rival of Slytherin. We never really find out what happened after that, but we can assume that his parents were not all that forgiving. They would have wanted him to follow that families tradition, they would have wanted yet another Black to be a Slytherin. They probably wanted him to be a Death Eater. tu can imagine, they were probably very disappointed. They probably told him that his vistas were wrong. Something must have been wrong at home, because we find out that Sirius ran away from inicial when he was 16. He moved in with James Potter, his best friend.
Those few years living with the Potters must have been his best. He was finally away from his family, and their dark vies on the world. It was probably the only time in his life that he was truly happy. Although, could he really ever be wholly happy with his past? Only Sirius, o even better, JK Rowling could tell us that. However, I assume that his past was always in the back of his head.
After he graduated from Hogwarts his life went downhill. He joined the Order of the Phoenix, but was soon after labeled the traitor. Sirius was accused of killing twelve muggles with one curse, as well as giving the location of Lily and James Potter to Voldemort, allowing him to kill them. He did neither of these things, Peter Pettigrew did them both. However, the evidence was against him and he was sent to the wizarding prison, Azkaban. He didn't even have a trial. Azkaban must have been the worst experience of his life, por far. Dementors guard Azkaban, and they take every happy memory from you, only leaving tu with your worst. Most people go crazy while they're in Azkaban. Sirius was in Azkaban for a total of 12 years, and he, fortunately, did not go crazy.
