Sherlock Holmes spot! 

I'm wondering if anyone else here has read The Private Diaries of Dr. Watson? I just finished it and it was pretty good. The author stuck to the script so to speak in that Holmes was Holmes of Doyle's creation. It also made mention of the 3rd elder brother Sherrinford. All in all it was an enjoyable read. It's hard to get a good Sherlock pastiche sometimes, but this is one of the better ones. If anyone else has read it I'd be interested to know what they thought of it, especially the story "The Illegitimate daughter". To me the plot line was entirely plausible (not to mention it was pretty funny in spots). The Trial of Dr Watson also had Holmes working his magic. A definite one for the fans.
