Yeah, I have to agree; we are ready to do everything for him to be saved, but I think he would rather prefer to die!

I don't mean who cares but being in love with Lily was his big dark secret. I don't actually think he would show anyone his memories once Voldemort was killed. To clear his name as a Death Eater would mean he'd have to show it to the entire magical world. If there's one thing I know about Snape is that he's proud and would despise pity which is exactly what he'd get if he did survive.
I always kind of thought he felt that his purpose was to do everything he could for Harry and he didn't plan to survive it. It's the tragedy of his life I think. What else is there after Voldemort is defeated?

But I feel it that it could suit Severus as well. All he did was for love. That reason is sufficient to deserve to be saved. (That doesn't mean he will be saved, of course.)

Plus, I don't think he would have wanted to live in a world he no longered wanted to be.

Yes, of course. I would kill off most of the other characters to save Severus. Out of all of them, he deserved a happy ending the most... poor Severus...

I'm kind of torn actually, because I love Draco too. But, even if he didn't die telling Voldemort he was the last one to have the wand, Voldemort would have found out it was Draco and Snape would have died anyway.

It would be selfish to keep him with us, he was in so much pain all of his life.

He deserved to have a second chance at life - a real life where he could be the man he honestly was, without having to live a double life.

If it was what he wanted.
If he wanted to go... I'd let him go. He needed peace at long last. However maybe having someone protect him for a change would give him a slightly different outlook on life.

He never got to see what a world was like without Voldemort, in which he could be free from both Dumbledore and the Dark Lord. Also, he suffered a long time in life, which should have more than atoned for any wrongdoing in his youth.
