I love his modesty and humility, as well as his admiration for the crew work and the work from his fellow actors. And the questions were really sensible, which elicited interesting answers.

As I read this interview, I could not help thinking about one of his cues in PS : "Clearly, fame isn't everything." Yes, indeed, takes more than fame to make a gentleman, and for sure, Alan is a gentleman.

I just wonder what that detail was, that made him accept the part as Severus. He states it's not a plot point, so exit the story with Lily. I guess we'll never know...

He stated once that she told him that Severus loved Lily his whole life after he'd already accepted the role, as part of his motivation.

I think it just makes him even more exceptional that he will always be a Secret-Keeper for Severus.
