Roswell Article: Kyle Valenti

As I watch the Roswell seasons in full view, Nick Wechsler's character, Kyle Valenti had a small role. Throughout that time period, Kyle got killed, was healed por Max and restarted his life completely. He became a buddhist and had a slight sister relationship with the Roswell baddy, Tess Harding.

The one thing I could not help to wonder was if Kyle was ever gay o not?

I realize the writers probably did not write him off that way but somehow to me, it seem to translate on the screen that way.

- He was always giving the girls consejos (AKA Isabel)...

- Sometimes the way he reacted to certain things..(can't think of a good example right now...)

I do not know, I just couln't help thinking this in retrospect. Anybody feel the same way?

mrose002 well yeah he did seem gay with all the buddhist stuff but i dont thnk he was cuz of all those weird fantasies and he dated liz...

pantufaloira I cannot say that this idea didn't cross my mind...but i think he wasn't gay!

jjjabberjaws i never thought he was gay. and i mean no disrespect but buddisum is a religion and it does not define sexual orientation. that would be like saying oh well she is catholic so she must be a lesbian, there is no correlation. i also believe that kyle felt more comfortable with the girls because he was raised by his father and had never experienced a mother/son relationship, therefore, longing for female companionship of the more "family" nature. plus the females excepted him more at first.

sarahdru I feel like he was one of the most hetero-outwardly-sexual characters on the show.

VMars4ever I always played with the idea that the character would be hilarious that way, but I never actually thought he was gay.

joeyisfit It is funny you say that. Now that you mention it he sure did have some very effeminate manerisms. I never thought he was gay though. And, how ironic is it that in the episode "Blind Date" Kyle is the one who asks Max if Max is gay when they are both drunk.

Buffygirl1988 I never thought he was gay. I think that he fell in love with Isabel.

herecumstrbl you morons - i think the first person thinks he's gay in reallllll life for realz - and i have to agree - he was rolling his eyes and his wrists like a true queen
