I do remember him saying this. I think I saw the interview. But it was not in the context that this article portrays. He was more talking about his first impression of the book, but that all changed when he started getting into the character of Edward. He loves Stephenie and is very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this franchise, and this guy is just trying to make him look bad!
