I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Malefistache — Emma’s tattoo.
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Forget-Me-Not plants symbolize true love. The forget-me-not flowers are a medium, “true blue”. And as the name suggests, they are given or used to decorate gifts with the hope the recipient will not forget the giver. It also symbolizes faithful love and memories. (x)
In another legend, the little flower cried out, “Forget-me-not!” as Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden. (Reminds me of the Lilith meta)
In Mill’s “History of Chivalry,” is given another story of origin with less happy ending. The lover, when trying to pick blossoms of the myosotis for his lady-love, was drowned, his last words as he threw the flowers on the bank being “Forget me Not.”
Henry IV adopted the flower as his symbol during his exile in 1398, and retained the symbol upon his return to England the following year.
True Love; Memories – Flower meaning.
The year when the curse created Storybrooke, to where every fairytale character was banished/exiled to. Sunday October 23, 1983 (Emma’s birthday).
Regina couldn’t forget her True Love who died, like the maiden in the Mill’s history of chivalry, not until
he asked her to let go and find love again. Parallel with Emma asking Regina to be open to love (during the AU).
Regina Mills adopted a child she named Henry in memory of her father; a baby boy whose birthmother happens to have a
forget-me-not flower tattoo on her wrist. Could it be destiny?
reason this makes me think of those painfully romantic stories of lovers that always find each other through many lives (reincarnation) because their True Love transcends time, and even realms. Curious theory:  in some cases when you reincarnate, you do in the opposite sex/gender. Understanding Past Lives – It’s an interesting read.
Anyway, leaving the realm of the unknown, we have this:
Memories: both women have at one point forgotten the other (escaping Pan’s curse, the Author’s AU), but their son ALWAYS brought them together.
True Love: both women share it with their son, and while they’ve tried giving each other their happy ending (3x11 going home / 4x22 sacrifice), we’ve yet to confirm their
