The show was always stupid.

Ten years is long enough. The old episodes were brilliant, but now they suck.

It used to be a great show. Then they kept dragging the show along and along and along....it's been like, 10 freaking years!! END IT ALREADY!

i enjoy it a lot. Sure its old and some of the new episodes are terrible but some are quite fantastic

The old episodes-not the new ones. I can't stand the new ones. ...My mother totally made me think about this when I told her that I thought SpongeBob sucks now and it's just terrible. She said, "It's not getting old-you're getting older."

And she's right. Lots of us have seen it when we were only maybe five years old. But as time went on, as the show continued, we got older. That doesn't mean it's sucking (because most shows do as they get older. It happens), but it just means that so many of us have matured and we can't understand what's so funny about it. Then again, the show expects to have an audience of children, not so much adults or teenagers.

That's just how I see it, though. People have different perspectives of what's funny or not. As for me, I don't get it. (Talk about pointless talk, right? *points at my comment* I just had to let that out. You didn't have to read it. xD)
