Yes, this has happened to me (I'm pretty sure it's the same user you're talking about) only once, and it wasn't horrendously disturbing, just a little uncomfortable, so I didn't think much of it.

Ugh it's THAT guy again. He's been making so many accounts and they always have that same picture on them! Welp, I got two messages from him and messages from his other account(s) in my inbox. Now I just ignore him.

I'm so sorry he's bugging tu though. Have tu tried blocking him from sending tu messages? Also to answer your question, yes in a way?

I've had that happen to me several times in my life, mostly online but I've had it happen a few times in real life.
Not with that particular user, though.

I used to just ignore it, until this one particular incident here on fanpop. There was one guy who kept flirting with me and asking sexual things of me, and continued to do so even when I asked him to stop. He kept saying that he was going to win me over and make me his mistress o something.
Things got so bad with him that I just blocked him and reported him for harassment.

For anyone going through the situation with this new fella, I suggest that they blatantly ask him to stop, and if that doesn't work, don't respond. If he still persists, then block him(if its through the PM system) and reportar him for harassment.
Even if he doesn't face consequences from Fanpop, he's sure to get the picture eventually.


Anyway, I suggest that anyone going through this kind of crap with this guy blantently tell him to stop, and if he doesn't listen, block and reportar him.

99% of the time the opposite gender will come to a page that restricts them, but regardless. I'm here to help out. I know an admin friend that could help out :D

Reminds me a bit of my stalker on another site. She doesn't leave me alone and I have to keep blocking her. She keeps making fake accounts. Quite annoying.

The only thing I can recommend is block, report, and ignore the person. Do NOT give attention to this person. Once tu read one sentence that gives them off, just immediately stop lectura and block. Since it's incredibly easy to make new accounts, tu sadly can't get rid of them completely.

This is a real issue for any social sites that can happen to anybody. Some people can't get the hint after saying "Stop" bluntly. I hope this pregunta helps people on this site with these issues.
