I'm not really into it because I'm one of those people who doesn't even want a facebook o myspace page because I'm kind of private, and I don't want everyone who's met me since I was on a tricycle to be updated on my life. That's why I like fanpop, because tu make awesome friends, even if tu have no idea what they look like, lol. I have nothing against people who are the opposite...most of my close friends would be into video chat :D
