How is it not? Alcohol is one of the worst drugs, worse than heroin and meth in many ways. Alcohol also kills a fuck load of people, weed kills no-one.
Doing too much of it can kill tu and it does kill brain cells. I understand people who needs it like for cancer but for people that's doing it to be cool. Well they're not cool at all I'm not saying I'm totally against it o anything.

It kills far less brain cells than anything alcohol does and it has beneficial relaxation properties and euphoric properties.
One o two drinks will still kill más brain cells than having a toke. Plus, people never simply stop at one o two drinks and drinking is very addictive.
Yes i know...... but i'm still against drugs, and alcohol, my dad smokes (not weed) and drinks. (not 2 much though) my Keith loves Guinness, Sambuca, and whisky. but that doesn't change the fact that i'm against it.
Because it's unhealthy and dangerous. BEFORE tu start ranting about how "Alcohol kills tu moar herp derp," comparing it to things that are even más dangerous doesn't make weed better for you.

Weed isn't dangerous... I ma comparing it to something dangerous to mostrar how mild it is. If it is so dangerous, then why have only about four o five people in history died from weed-related causes? Plus, there are many studies mostrando that is nowhere near as bad for you, in terms of brain cells, as people think.
^ It can cause tu to do horrible things. Weed can make tu hurt friends, get tu kicked out of school (if you're still in school), get tu fired from work (if tu have a job), cause tu to break up with someone tu love, hurt your family, and a lot more.
Weed doesn't do any of those things... If things like that happen, then the will to do that was already present in the person. it doesn't turn people into monsters, that is purely reserved for gutter drugs like heroin and cocaine and such
^ So you're telling me that people who do stupid and dangerous things that are completely out of character for them on a weed high are perfectly normal and unharmed? It destroys lives, whether tu want to see it like that o not.
^ Dude. My uncle is a weed addict, and he's been trying to quit for ages now. Its hindering his life, and he hates every segundo of it. If someone on weed hates it, I see no reason that I shouldn't.
And go through the same explanation again? No thanks. Just read other comentarios that I've made, even so its your opinion, if tu don't like it, fair enough, I'm just debating my reasons for liking it.
That's like asking "why does everone hate hitler so much?"
Because it kills you, it hurts your body, makes tu act dumb, tu become addicted to it and that could make tu hurt your family, AND the fact that everyone knows it's evil and they do it anyway.

^ I'd rather not be influenced por druggies, and I'm against smoking of any kind, not just weed. Alcohol is unhealthy too, but not if it is in moderation. Oh, and I'd rather not get kicked out of school, so no smoking for me. :)

Most of those tu have listed up there are purely speculations por people who aren't qualified to make those speculations... Studies have found that is actually más beneficial in a lot of ways than most people think.
Because, in short, it's bad for your body. It's worse and más addictive than smoking. I get it if it's for medical uses, but if it's just because tu want to do it, it's bad. The medical benefits are just for taking pain away and such. But it still kills your body. It's your choice if tu want to do it, but seriously, I hate it.
A Junkie??? R u fucking kidding me? Weed???? Weed does not make anyone a junkie, junkie is reserved for heroine addicts. Pot isn't bad, but a bunch of smear campaigns were run back in the '50's that gave it a bad rep! It's medicinal purposes alone, are good enough, but also all the things help can be used for, makes it a good cash crop. I don't know why ppl freak out about it. I guess not a lot has changed from the '50's, but ppl are real assholes on this site who just like to fight, and be ignorant. So, unfortunately a good answer is going to be hard to find. They don't take plain, open, simple preguntas as they are.

@snow What a huge assumption about people on this site. Could it be we just have different personalities,outlooks and opinions than you? Calling people names without too much of a reason is just as bad as people who are being "assholes" in your opinion.
Not everyone hates weed. Be careful when tu word things like this.
I'm perfectly fine with marihuana being legalized. It has shown medical benefits for some illnesses, and seeing as how my mom could really care less if I smoked it, I'm okay with weed. That doesn't mean I'm a pothead though. I would be más concerned with the fact that it is addicting though and in the long run can cause negative consequences.

I was referring to the people who were against the legalisation in an earlier pregunta today... I agree, but I have to say that it is not addictive at all, unless tu have an addictive personality. Plus, there are very few negative effects from it and many beneficial effects.
Because some people have heard can be bad for tu in some instances and because they have been taught that all their lives. Me personally? I believe weed CAN be but not necessarily bad for you. IF someone has an addictive personality it can be bad and if people misused it. TOO much of anything can be bad. People have died from drinking too much water and it destroyed their stomach. But regardless man even if tu disagree with the people who are posting respuestas tu shoudn't try to change their minds. I mean that's their opinion. I think marihuana should be legalized because that will probably drop illegal trade of it significantly and btw I am aware it can be good for a person as well but I choose not to smoke it. It's simply not my thing. IF someone careless smokes marihuana o do anything carelessly (That "insert subject") can be bad. But that's my take on it.

I don't hate weed. But I don't like it either. It is true that it can help relieve pain and stuff, but it's been dicho and proven that it can cause anxiety, trouble concentrating, it's considered por some experts to be a "gateway drug", it has been linked to mental illness, and it makes your voice sound stupid. "But alcohol's worse!!!" Drugs are drugs. A drug may be más severe than another drug, but that doesn't mean the other drug isn't also bad and this is coming from a former alcoholic and someone who has smoked weed as a teen. The best thing to do, imo, is to avoid any kind of drug that is not for a medical o calming purpose.

Really? I didn't know "everybody" hated anything o "everybody" liked..? Those are such absolutes as I try very hard to stray away from. I don't use. (AND I am VERY glad I don't!) I really cannot even believe tu would ask such a question. I work at not judging, because people who live in glass houses really should not throw stones (so to speak), lol, but I think "you" know I have some strong opinions on such related topic matters, so I won't even dignify those here. I just came to post, for the record, (because few if ANY- besides maybe BB, seemed to have much knowledge on the subject.) FYI: A "JUNKIE" is someone who SHOOTS dope! Dang! People. That is the end & all of that definition. AND someone who smokes pot can be a "pothead", "a stoner", and/or not to be confused with a social "dabbler" o "weekend warrior" - but definately not a f***'n Junkie! Geez! 0_0
