Not allowed amor vs boy friend (need consejos please)

So I amor this guy, but I can't be with him, u c he has a different skin colour and since apartheid in South Africa people find it hard to except aka my parents. My mother knows I amor him though.he just finished school so I don' know when I'll c him again.
Now I have I boy friend, my colour skin, who I think really likes me. He really cares about me, he makes me laugh and could talk to him4 hours! He looks at me every now and then...
How do I handle it if he tells me he really likes me?
