Why do people want a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship at ages 10-15?

okay so as i am 14 i feel qualified to answer this.
1. Hormones - getting off with people and making out with people is just something tu want to do due to hormones at this time in life.
2. Being a teenager is a very insecure time in someones life. When your a kid tu don't care what people think and when your an adult tu learn not to. Teenagers like to feel they have someone who cares other than there parents (who they think are lying and just being nice, and/or are annoying) and who shows them they care. Because the opposite gender can be most judgey, someone going out with tu makes tu feel like your worth it, it makes tu feel good looking and that people like tu as a person, which really helps self confidence and people skills at that time.
3. It's probably an in built coping technique as well. If tu go through all the corazón break, the stress and the happiness and the worrying about it probably teaches tu very good lessons as life goes on in later life. Of someone tu trust cheats on tu as teenager, when it really matters tu will be able to cope with the situation better.
4. It used to be common for people to get married in there early teens. It's probably still there in the sub-conscience that that's the time where people should start thinking about it, because even though we no longer die at thirty it's probably in built that people think well lets re produce and continue the human race as a survival technique it will take ages to evolve out of.
5. Popularity. popular people go out with people. Because they are hot and people want to go out with them. there fore hot people = popular people, and hot people = people people want to go out with. Not just hotness obviously, also being funny charming and sporty are also major factors in things like that. This means that if tu go out with someone tu immediately go up the comida chain per say.
6. Society. Society conditions peoples to go out with people and have sex with people at a young age because that's what other, older people do, that's what so and so did (maybe a sibling) so that's what i'll do.
7. Peer pressure. enlaces in with society and popularity. I don;t think i really have this explain this one.

I think its caused they arent spendin enough time w/ theyre parents, i spend 2 much time so..im ok XD but its just how they feel..in myopinion,call up some friends and chill u dont need a realtion ship =D

her's a reason, maybe they see relationships on tv o cine (with younge actors) and think what ever shown on the tv mostrar is the worst that can happen, idk, at that age i wasnt even thinking about having a boyfriend...im 16 now lol

because if tu fall in amor with someone there is nothing tu can do. it just takes over your life, especially at young ages like that. it feels like you're riding in a bubble of happiness

ok I'm 15 here's my persective:

High school where I am your rated on how cute tu are, how cute your boyfriend is, and how cute of a couple tu are. I am ranked very low on the cuteness scale, which leads to the insecurity, I don't have a boyfriend, so that leads for más insecurity in my case cause it makes me feel like I'm way to ugly for a boyfriend. Also, they want to know there is someone else there for them that really cares and they can go to them whenever they need something. At my school tu need that closeness otherwise your kinda screwed, especially when your in high school becuse thats the año when a ton of shit happens to tu like bullying is higher and stuff like that, and its pretty much a "oh who do I wanna sleep with" thing where I am I'm not saying it is for every school thats just how it is at mine: note we have one of the highest pregnancy rates.

I am 13 and I have a boyfriend. His name is Harrison, and he couldn't be anymore perfect, loyal, trustworthy, and sweet to me. We went and saw the Hunger Games, and we hang out at least everyweek in the summer. He goes to my school and last año was in most of my classes. My parents approve him. His parents approve me. So let me answer your question. I have no clue. I guess that they think that they'll be popular if he o she has a girlfriend o a boyfriend. I know my friend Lisa has one, o at least says she dooes. She got 'asked out' on a bus 1 week before school started. She says yes, but they don't talk at school, don't have eachother's cell phone o inicial numbers, and I don't even consider them to be together. So in conclusion to your question, I think they do it to be cool, o to make themselves popular.
