Yeaa but it just shows what an awesome guy he is cos he still wants andie to be happy even if he aint the guy to make her happy. In the book he and andie get together and that was the original ending but apparently the film director didnt feel that was a good message to send. Duckie deserves a girl who feels the same as him. <3 :)
