How do tu say,"Dude,you're my BEST friend!" in French?

this is what i got from the google translator...but tu cant always trust online translators;

dude vous êtes mon meilleur ami!

It's "Mec, tu es mon meilleur pote!"

"vous" is ok but it's when tu don't really know the person so tu should say "tu"

TeamSongz4eva is right...I'm taking french and I learned that 'vous êtes' means 'you are' o tu can say "Dude, tu es mon meilleur ami!", depending on who tu are talking to.
