I need your help Fanpopers!!

I'm gettin a hámster soon and I've had them before but I still consider myself a beginner.
So my pregunta is what hámster is good for beginners?I like the Winter White hámster and the Syrian hámster (teddy oso, oso de hamster).
And if tu could please post a link to some info on them and what kind of cage they need(plastic,metal).
