Hey guys! I'm isabellagirl033 and I am creating a roleplay based on one of the most popular wizarding schools in the Harry Potter universe. To take part in this roleplay, firstly you have to signup with your character and no existing characters will be used since they are only two, Fleur and Gabrielle Delacour.
You can be student,teacher or headmaster/mistress(only one).

Plot:
Beauxbatons academy of magic is thought to be situated somewhere in France and several visitors speak of the breath-taking beauty of a magistic castle surrounded by formal gardens and lawns created out of the mountainous landscape by magic. It has mostly french students.

Rules:
1. No inappropriate words,images or language.
2. Strictly no cursing.
3. Character biography must be no more than one paragraph.
4. No romance.
5. No major changes or killing off any one's character without permission.
6. Anything out of character must be within brackets.
7. No more than two characters.
8. No one-liners.
9. Remember to have fun!

Short Biography: Audrey was born in France and led quite a normal childhood with an average family and a perfect house. When she first received invitation into Beauxbatons, Audrey was very reluctant to leave her family and had a serious case of homesickness during her first week but eventually got over it and made many friends. Always eager to learn new things, she jumped at the chance of learning Occlumency when her professor offered her. She is a very studious child with a creative streak in her though she can be mysterious at times.

Short Biography: Lisa is a transfer student from Hogwarts. She was born into a pureblood family in Britain but moved to France in her fifth-year. She was incredibly glad when she moved since she wasnt too fond of Hogwarts. Lisa's family is very rich and she has always been provided with lavish silk dresses and jewellary. She is incredibly graceful and walks with her head held high and is very popular mostly due to her beautiful looks and decent manner. She also has a dear love for animals and has a pure white persian cat. She mother is a Veela and due to this she is part-veela.

Personality: Calm and collected with a serene aura surrounding her.
Short Biography: Genesis Maxime is the daughter of Olympe Maxime and surprisingly didnt inherit any of her half-giantess qualities and instead inherited her father's incredibly good looks who was a French wizard but divorced her mother and left them all alone. Due to this reason, Genesis chose to recognized by her famous mother's name. After Olympe's death, Genesis became the headmistress of Beauxbatons at the young age of 29 and maintained it quite well. She is a accomplised animagus and can transform into a butterfly. She is a serene and collected woman and makes everyone in her company feel secure and calm.

Audrey has butterflies in her stomach as she always did at the beginning of the year. She was wearing her blue silk uniform and her auburn hair were tied in a high ponytail. There were swarms of students each looking for a place to sit among the hundreds of carriages in the large ground. Audrey chosed a place in a carriage where only one girl was sitting and it was obvious that she was a Veela. Her blonde hair framed her face perfectly and she was reading a book.

Madame Maxime was in her beautiful flower wallpapered two floored office where the upstairs room served as her bedroom, waiting for the students to arrive and for the feast and the sorting ceremony to begin. She brushed her long brown tresses and carefully made a bun. Something told her that this year was very special.

Short Biography: called "Roi" by his friends, and "Voyou" by his enemies, not much is known about his past. He is the best male duelist in the school, with his Laural wand, with a Gargouille Horn core, rigid and 12 3/4 inches. He is fascinated with the old musketeers and wants to become the President's personal Auror.

((Since DameDarcy has told me she didnt want to participate due to being busy, I'll get her character out of the picture.))

As soon as Audrey sat down, the Veela girl left the carriage. Audrey shrugged and thought that she probably wanted to read her book in peace. Outside there were several teachers yelling and instructing the students to board the carriages. Audrey peeked out and saw several girls chatting, fresh new faces being escorted by teachers, boys waving to each other and frustated teachers. Audrey was quite anxious to make new friends this year.

Genesis glanced at the watch in her office and saw that it was nearly time for the students to start arriving and made her way through the door and into the hall. She saw a portrait of her mother, Olympe Maxime hanging and said "It is time, mother." and gave her a sentimental smile. Genesis smoothed out her white silk robes and took the seat reserved for her on the stage of the hall.

A couple of Ravens fly next to the Carraiges of the Beaubaton school, which is not unaccustomed in this part of the land. A few of them land on the top of the carriages. However one lone Raven flies into the hedges, and a minute later Corbin steps out of the bushes. He stands up in his proper school robes, and slightly dusts them off. He looks at the school, his home, his first real home to be exact. How he misses the silken uniforms, the magic, the battles, and being a male minority had its advantages. He grabs his trunk which was mailed in advance, and he hops on what appears to be an empty carriage heading into the school.

Audrey glanced at the two newcomers and invited them to come in. "Sure sit down." The carriage was quite large enough to let five students sit without disturbing each other one bit. A teacher called Madame Rose joined them as every carriage needed to have a teacher so students wont get on the wrong route.
"Morning Madame Rose." Audrey greeted her professor. Madame Rose greeted her back and the carriage slowly began to lift up into the air and was soon moving in full speed.

Once the carriage started, Corbin looked out the window, he never liked the flying carriages to much. They always swayed too much when they were in the air, he looked over at Audrey, "Have we met before?"

Theo says, "Thanks," and then looks out the window, loving the view of the sky. The only part of the flying carriage trip he liked. The trip always felt too long to him. He perks up when he hears Corbin speak, but realizes he was talking to Audrey, and pulls out a book to pass the time.

Not long after, Corbin asked Audrey if he had met her before. "Nope.Never." Audrey said, not keen to make conversation as she was getting airsick. After what seemed like a hundred hours the carriages met ground and the students began piling out of the carriages. Teachers began arranging the students into lines. Audrey was extremely glad to reach Beauxbatons and joined the girls line. She breathed in the fresh air and glanced at the extremely wonderous beauty of the castle.

The pudgy caretaker, Mrs.Olsen of Beauxbatons knocked onto the door of Beauxbatons hall and Madame Genesis invited her in. "They're here, Madame." Genesis smiled to herself.

Theo slams the book and hops out of the carriage. He takes a deep breath as he joined the boys line. He waves his hand in front of his face and his eyes become a stormy grey and his hair becomes longer and turns white.

After the landing, Corbin rushed to meet Aubrey again, and he offers a cordial hand, "Dion, Corbin" he makes a slight bow with the gesture, a procedure taught at the school.

After the landing, the Dion boy rushed to meet Audrey again. By this time, she was getting annoyed. "Excuse me but we'll get scolded by the teacher." But she managed to return a slight bow as it was a gesture of politeness and nothing else. The teachers led the students into the great hall which was beautifully decorated with marvelous embellishments. The teachers separated the first years for the sorting ceremony.

Setting Two: The Sorting
The sorting is done by the means of a beautiful circular mirror that once belonged to Lady Rosamonde Beauxbaton. Her ghost appears in the mirror and asks a series of questions to the students and then decides which house.

The Three Houses
Charmantli: Charmantli takes itself upon those who carry themselves with grace and charm and make everyone in their company feel such. Genesis Maxime and her mother, Olympe both belonged to this house. The Charmantli are extremely neat people who take care of their appearance and are leaders by birth.
Courlion: Most famously known as the house of the great Fleur Delacour, in Courlion reside great fighters and warriors who yearn to defend their people and residence. They have a heart of lion and only have a few fears. They often tend to listen to their mind rather than their heart.
Reussistar: The Reussistars are successful people and are known for their quirky and fun-loving nature. They often possess a mysterious and dark side. They are unique and different from their company. Gabrielle Delacour once belonged to this house. Reussistars are hardworking but some are often easily drawn towards the dark side.

Corbin steps back, and apologizes, and heads to his line. When they enter the hall, and after the mirror is revealed, he sort of sits back. He was always glad the mirror did not show everyone his past, most if they knew might not think of him the same way.

Theo glances at mirror, remembering his sorting. He shakes his head to bring his out of past and shuffles forward. He hopes this sorting will be over fast. He changes his face to model the person next to him, only to change it back.

Theo notices the boy from the carriage searching for someone, and wonders who it is he's looking for, only to realize its probably the girl from earlier. One of the first-years sit next to him, so he morphs his face to look like him, to scare him.

Once he deems her lost in the crowd, he pulls his wand out and starts using it to fix random things in his suitcase, pocket knives, combs, flashlights, lighters, everything he can until they are in near pristine condition. If anyone knew his secret he couldn't bear it, if she knew ...
