Creatures have been being born among normal humans lately. These creatures look like normal humans on the outside but within they are powerful mythological creatures. Sometimes though a part of them will appear with their human form like for example a phoenix’s wings will appear on the back of their human form or a sea serpent might have a tail in their human form. These parts of them can appear either at will or with strong emotion. They can also go into full creature form if need be.

So anyway how do the normal humans react to this? Well some humans are capturing some of these creatures experimenting on them because they hope to find the secret to immortality; while others are experimenting on them to hope to gain their incredible powers. The creatures that aren't captured experimented on are hunted down and killed because the people believe are full of evil, though I do admit there are a few of them that are full of evil.

The creatures are then left to choose whether they want to try and live in secret and peace with the humans, or if they want to show themselves and be at war with them.
