Jesse St. James Returning For ‘Glee’ Finale: Will He End Up With Rachel?

It sounds like ‘Glee’ is ready to go out on top — and that’s why they brought back the one and only Jesse St. James! On Feb. 19, Lea Michele shared a pic with her BFF, Jonathan Groff on the ‘Glee’ set, and yes, we’re hoping this means they will end up together!

since season three when Jesse St. James was coaching Vocal Adrenaline to win second place at Nationals — but he is reportedly returning for the series final later this year! The actor recently teased that he may make a return and now it’s official.

“A very special day at #Glee today! Only 3 more days left! And look who stopped by! #JGroff #JesseStJames,” Lea tweeted on Feb. 19 with a super cute pic with her with Jonathan backstage at 

No this doesn’t mean he’s back on the show but E! has now confirmed that yes, he 

appear on the finale. We have a feeling he may come back as a Vocal Adrenaline coach since Will Schuester’s (Matthew Morrison) coaching methods aren’t exactly working for their team.

Of course, we’re more concerned with what this means for Rachel 

if they will sing “Hello” again, since that was their first duet together when we met him. Sure, she once chose Finn over him but would she choose

Sam over him? Ugh, let’s hope not.

I said it once, and I’ll say it again — Rachel and Jesse can easily be endgame here. Sure, she could end up alone as a strong independent women which I’m totally game for but if she

going to be with someone again, it should be Jesse. Plus, it totally helps that Lea and Jonathan are BFFs in real life.

Jesse St. James obviously. Me and my friends have been rooting for him since season 1. Actually no Jesse screentime and the stupid plots (rachel/sam) are what kept us out of the watching the show. It would be great if they end up together.

NO! Jesse St Douche is a Douche. I lovr Jonathan Groff but No. If Rachrl is going to end up with ANYONE it better be either Sam or Puck. If they did date then Im going to be SUPER pissed and Im going to hate the show Forever if it ends like that. You cant go from her from having a thing from Sam to Jesse.

yes but it was dismissed quickly when rachel said that she thought mercedes and sam were soulmates, that just makes her a bad friend even if mercedes is ok with it now, now i believe they dont have a girl code but whatever float their boat i guess

Not arguing. Just pointing out that Samchel isn’t completely random and it didn’t come out of no where. They laid down the ground for it to happen last season but chose to go in a different direction and now they are back and deciding to explore that area. It’s moving quick because they are friends that already know each other. They didn’t have to learn about the other because they already know. Now, they are just exploring new feelings with each other that’s why it seems to be moving fast.

Everyone has been a bad friend if dating a freind ex is a barometer of that, including Mercedes cause she dated Sam after two other freinds had dated him and Brittany and Sam were very serious.

Why is always the same excuse? “this is disrespectful to Finn” “he egged her”..You dont choose who you love and if she falls in love again with Jesse so be it not “Sam is the opossite he is like Finn and Finn will be ok with it”, the only reason Sam is with Rachel is because he is sort like Finn and thats why most samchel shippers want them aside from the fact they dont like samcedes…You dont now the development Jesse had in more than 2 years if Dave changed then Jesse too…Finn would want her to be happy even if it is with Jesse and you dont know what Finn may think we are not minds readers and he is gone and anyway i doubt he will be selfish about it and he doesnt own Rachel´s life and choices anyway

Finn egged her too and made her lose her confidence at time. Finn also took away her agency on more than one occasion.

yeah but people seem to forget that and dismiss everything bad Finn did and Jesse will always be the villain even is he is a sweetheart now…and sam well he seems alright but not a long term bf for rachel and more like a midgame im pretty sure he will comeback to mercedes because he was still in love with her and mercy told him to go out with rachel..almost nobody understands that jesse may be a different person now

Jesse is going to be with Rachel and he will help her get back to Broadway.

I don’t know why but I feel like it would be disrespectful to Finn if she ended up with Jesse so I’m rooting for Sam, who I believe Finn would be okay with.

Exactly she doesnt need to think If Finn this and the other, she is her own person and is her life a sam is so wrong for her there is something about them been a couple that doesnt click it doesnt look right
