Freddie Mercury is always on Brian May's mind.

The queen guitarist is currently on a UK tour with theatrical singer Kerry Ellis - whose album 'Anthems' he helped pen - and admitted not a día goes por when the legendary singer isn't in his thoughts as he is so ''proud'' of their work together in the band.

Speaking about Freddie's influence on his life, he said: ''As well as being the perfect frontman, he was the perfect catalyst to channel the band to the audience.

''He's always very much in my mind and I feel very proud and I'm proud of what we did together.

''I grieved a lot and it does strange things to tu because it's like losing a family member, but I'm very joyful about what he created.''

Brian also hopes to carry on Freddie's ''wonderful'' legacy por raising funds during the tour for the Born Free Foundation to help protect endangered species.

He explained on ITV1's 'Loose Women' chat show: ''His life was dedicated to just doing wonderful things and not only did he have a great time himself, but he helped other people to have a great time.

''I amor canto his songs and we do a lesser known song por Freddie which is called 'Life Is Real'. It's really beautiful and soulful and different from the flamboyant stuff.''

Tickets for Brian and Kerry's 11 fecha Born Free tour have already sold out and Brian dicho in a statement on Queen's website: ''We have found that the two of us just working live off each other can distill the very essence of a song - and that's what we hope to bring tu in these dates.

''After all, if tu have great songs and a great singer, what más do tu need? Well, maybe just a little bit of guitar!''

I'd sit alone / And watch your light
My only friend / Through teenage nights
And everything / I had to know
I heard it on my Radio
You gave them all / Those old-time stars
Through wars of worlds / Invaded por Mars
You made 'em laugh / tu made 'em cry
You made us feel that we could fly
So don't become / Some background noise
A back-drop for / The girls and boys
Who just don't know / o just don't care
And just complain / When you're not there

You've had your time / tu had the power
You've yet to have / Your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is / Radio Ga Ga
Radio Goo Goo / Radio Ga Ga
All we hear is / Radio Ga...

Getting ready to Mick Rock!

The only camera I really know how to use is that of a disposable and I am not ashamed to say it! Aperture and obturador speed and all this stuff, it’s all just strange lingo sounds to my ears. Having never really been very good at fotografía the thing I look for when judging an image has nothing to do with the technicalities. I don’t really notice if it could have been sharper o brighter o slightly less grey in the parte superior, arriba corner, and thinking about it I quite like not being good at fotografía because it gives tu this outsider’s view on each photograph tu see....

This song has one of the strangest lyrics so I thought you'd like to see them.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy (Poor boy)
I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Any way the wind blows
Doesn't really matter to me, to me

Mama just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life has just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn't mean to make tu cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow...
