"Alright Professor, so this is where we'll battle?" Sora questioned, cautiously looking down at the ground nearly two stories down, before jogging away from the edge of the roof. He didn't need to worry about heights, he needed to worry about his battle with Sycamore. His dream was on the line, after all. Looking back up at said Professor, he saw the confident smirk he'd quickly grown accustomed to from the man.

"Indeed it is, Sora. And since i'm sure you are anxious to begin, i won't waste your time." He reached to his belt, unclipping a single Pokeball, before pressing it'c center button, which caused it to enlarge to the size of a baseball. "Froakie, let's go!" he tossed the Pokeball lightly into the air, and the sphere split open, allowing a stream of light to come out and slowly take the form of the light blue amphibian Pokemon.

"Fro." Froakie muttered, quickly assuming a fighting stance and narrowing it's eyes. It didn't seem like the type to play around. Sora smirked, turning to his right shoulder to look at his own Pokemon.

"Goomy, you ready? This'll be our first battle together against someone besides Grandma. You ready?" he questioned. Goomy was silent for a moment, before hesitantly nodding,

"Goo, Goomy!" It replied with a determination that was out of character for it. Usually Goomy was afraid to battle. It was a timid Pokemon, it had been ever since it hatched from it's Egg that Sora'd carried with him nearly his whole life. Today was it's time to return the favor. Sora didn't know any of this of course, but just grinned anyway once Goomy leapt off his shoulder and onto the battlefield.

"All right Professor, hope you're ready to rock!" Sora called across the roof confidently. Professor Sycamore smirked again. "Likewise, Sora. Now..." Everyone tensed up as the mood suddenly shifted. "Let the battle begin! Froakie, Quick attack!"

"I have not put on any weight," Alexa said with a serious expression.

"Or kisses," Arilly suggested.

"Goomy and Froakie, a rookie trainer and a Professor..." Tess mumbled under her breath, watching as the Water-type started launched forward to attack. Not thinking any further, Tess unzipped her bag and rummaged inside for a while until she pulled out a video camera. Turning it on, she pointed it at the ongoing battle and began recording. "Let's see how this plays out..."
