The Joy of a Mother

tu start to giggle
As tu see the baby inside of tu wiggle
tu laugh with joy
When tu have dado birth to a baby boy
tu gasped once tu heard
His voice saying his first word
With happiness tu wept
At the sight of your son taking his first step
tu smiled with a proud heart
When he comes back from school with his own work of art
Years and years go by
When it is time to say goodbye
Off to college he goes
Knowing he wont be back until it snows
But do not worry
He will not forget his Mommy
And now with gladness tu are crying
As tu hear the wedding bells ringing
Oh how happy it is to be
A grandmother of three!

amor unto Death

At night I stay up

Thinking of tu until my time is up

When I am gone I wish tu the best

I amor tu even if tu amor me less

Never understood why we were apart

I guess we were never meant to be from the start

As the wind called my name

I was ready to go until tu came

Kissed my hand and cheek

tu dicho "I amor you, and it is tu whom my corazón seeks."

The temptation to go was as great as it was to stay

So I must be careful of what I do and say

Whatever i do is my choice

Who knows, we might miss each other's voice

I decide to stay with my love

As the stars tremble above

On my lips I'll keep a kiss

All my life I'll think of this

I can never say goodbye

Even if I die
