At the campfire,when my perfectly good clothes changed to a girlie supreme,I was speechless.At least something good came out of it-Jason saying I was knock-out.At the same time,it made me think,"Is he as shallow as the others?""No,he can't be, we've......"Then,my thought trailed off,rembering me& Annabeth's talk on parte superior, arriba of the hill.Just thinking about it made my eyes bloodshot.Or at least I think they were.That stupid Aphrodite blessing wouldn't allow any "ugly" features to mess up my perfect facial."Just hold on tight,the campfire will be done any minute,then,I can take off this hideous...

The Quest Begins

This was not happening. Percy Jackson was a son of Poseidon. The son of my mother’s rival. I thought after what had happened to Thalia, the gods would have learned they’re lesson! And to think I actually thought Percy and I could work together! That would be totally impossible now!

He was claimed two nights ago, during Capture the Flag. That game would never be the same again. He had left the Hermes cabina to mover into the Poseidon one that same night. I felt like I couldn’t talk to him...
