The light reappears, and I look back down at my arm where Rose grabbed it. I knew almost nothing about her, but I could tell that woman holding her was her worst fear. My arm's its normal tan, but with red-white streaks across it from her finger marks. Some misceláneo guy starts talking to the blonde girl, whose name I think is Annabeth, pointing at me and gesturing wildly. She just nods, and turns to me and kneels. I take a step back, realizing I was too absorbed in my arm and shock to notice they were all kneeling.
The sudden light that had revealed Rose's captor was still lingering. I looked upwards, and saw a yellow sun-shaped orb over my head. It was fading, but it was definite. The horse man-Chiron- said, "All hail Kendall Camren. Son of Apollo."
After that quick moment, everyone got back up and sat at the mesa, tabla again. I was trying to breathe slowly, not die from shock, and not pass out. I'm not sure I achieved any of these things. But I was vaguely aware of a heated conversation, about what we were going to do. Not everyone had seen the woman, so Annabeth and the guy- who had told me his name was Will- gave a descripción the best they could. I filled in a bit once they asked me, about her face, which was turned towards me, and how Rose took hold of my arm as if this was the one person she was afraid of. Suddenly, in the middle of me mostrando the marks on my arm, a redheaded girl doubled over and then slowly lifted her head back up, gazing at me intensely.
"Four demigods shall rush to her aid,
Across the water, the quest must be made.
One will be maimed, one will die,
Two will have souls ripped from bodies to fly.
Only three will return to Camp Half-Blood alive."
She collapsed back into her seat, pulling a collar out from under her shirt. It was a leather beaded one like other campers wore, but it had a small pouch attached. She reached in and took out a small glowing scroll, and set it in the middle of the table. Slowly, it uncurled and revealed the words of the prophecy-like poem etched into the ancient papyrus in golden script. I stared, but no one else reacted, just sat quietly while the girl began to stand on wobbly knees. Annabeth got up and helped her to an adjoining room, and Chiron turned to me, trying to explain. "Have tu heard of the Oracle of Delphi?"
He told me all about Rachel and her mystical powers, and now a quest must be made to fulfill the prophecy she had predicted. Usually, whoever asked a pregunta was one of those questers. "But since she was glaring right at you," Percy added, "You obviously have to go."
"WHAT???" I cried. "I have no training! I just saw a girl kidnapped, my mother killed, frickin' MONSTERS, and tu want me to go on a heroic journey to save the damsel in distress? I'm not the knight in shining armor. I'm no hero."
"It has been predicted por the Orcale," Chiron dicho firmly, "so it is decided."
I sagged into my office chair, putting my hand on my face. "Fine. Fine, I'll go."
Will stood. "I'll go too. Teach him how to use a bow and arrow, everything a son of Apollo needs to know."
Annabeth had come back, unnoticed, several minutos hace from helping Rachel, and she opened her mouth, but Chiron raised a hand and she closed it again. "Yes, Annabeth, tu and Percy may be the final two. Gotta keep that every-summer quest record."
"YES!" She jumped up and flung her arms around Percy's shoulders, giving him a big kiss on the cheek. They were boyfriend and girlfriend, I guess, but everyone else groaned and rolled their eyes like they were used to it.
I took my hand off my face. "Can I go now?"
Chiron didn't notice, but Percy gave a solemn nod. I left quietly with my pack and new weapons, sitting on the steps of the Big House because I didn't have anywhere else to go.

So... I’m making a book that goes along with Percy Jackson, but with a new character; his name is Ellis Hartley. In the book, it goes along with so many books; Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Captain Underpants. Here’s a vista previa (and no, this is not the first words):
Mortals hollered insanely and the pilot tried to lower the plane while speaking incoherently to the co-pilot, but it was no good. The plane kept rising and it shakily tried to steady as they hovered over the New York City skyscrapers.
Meanwhile, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Leo, and Piper tried to fight the shiny blob. People kept coughing and seemed to rapidly spread diseases. One person lay severely injured por a spreading surge of lung cancer.
How do tu think of it? Let me know, and I can change it!

This was diffinatly not good. I didn't want to go back. EVER. Camp half-blood was my favorito! place in the world and now I would hate the site of it.
We drove for hours. Of course it took longer because every half hora we would have to pull over so someone could use the restroom.
after three and a half-hours of stopping and going #1, we got to Piper and Jason's house. Piper hugged me and Jason and I had our 11th annual starring contest. I won. 11th año in a row.
We drove a little longer and picked up Leo and Rachel, who got married last year. No one ever, ever, EVER pictured them as a couple. But, look what happened.
siguiente we picked up thalia and Artemis. Then we stopped and picked up Angela and Nico. ángeles joined the camp when she was fifteen and she was part of the Apollo cabin. Her and Nico kind of got close.
siguiente was HIS house. We were almost there.

I should have been happy, out and about with my mum in the holidays getting a drink in the cafe tu know everything was perfect, but I had this feeling inside me that something was wrong at the camp. I didn't know what o why but I knew there was, some how. "Percy, what do tu want?" asked mum. I knew she dicho something but I was in to much of a gaze to even listen to what she said.
"Percy?"
"Percy!"
I knew I should start listening because por then she must have been getting annoyed.
"Yeah...sorry, just water," I dicho (wonder why I picked water).
I decided to go into the bathroom to think about this because now people were starting to stare! I must have been making a funny thinking face o something. "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom, one sec" I dicho rushing, she looked kind of suspicous but was laughing a bit.
Thanks for reading! I tu think I should keep escritura please say! This was just a tester to see if tu liked it!!!x
