Julien turned onto his side to see Private standing there looking down at him. "Oh, hello Private." Julien mumbled. "What are tu doing here?"
"Well, tu seem a bit down in the dumps más than usual." Private replied. Julien responded por laying on his back and sighed. "Still upset about Marlene?" Private, along with a few más animals, noticed that Julien hasn't been himself since the whole 'Skilene' thing. He was also part of the few who actually wanted Julien to either be happy o who supported Julene. Julien didn't reply. Private took this as his cue to leave and waddled to Maurice, who was dusting Julien's long deserted throne. Mort just stared at his king's feet. "Ello, Maurice, Mort."
"Oh hola Private." the aye-aye greeted quietly.
"Hello there Private!" smiled the ratón lemur.
"The plátano will fly at midnight." Private replied.
"Got it." Maurice dicho as he continued dusting. Private nodded and left their habitat.
"What does that mean?" Mort asked Maurice.
"You'll see later." he plainly answered. Mort didn't understand what he meant, so he continued to stare at 'the feet'. Somehow, Mort wanted to touch them, but at the same time he didn't. Something about Julien's new behavior made his feet seem miserable to touch to Mort. He heard the lémur, lemur king sigh heavily once again.
Later At Midnight
"Order. Order everyone!" Maurice yelled over the small party of animales who arrived at their meeting in the zooviner shop. The animales stopped talking and payed full attention to Maurice. "Thank you. Now to start the meeting, Private?" Private nodded and hopped on parte superior, arriba a counter. (If anyone's wondering, Fluffy was on the lookout for any of the penguins, besides Private.)
"You all know why we're here right?" Private asked. He was part of the group who wanted Julien to be happy again.
"It's about Julien again," Stacy, the red furred badger, began.
"Isn't it?" ended the blonde furred badger, Becky. The two sisters didn't support Skilene. They supported Julene, but mostly because they thought they would be cute together. They also kinda missed the parties Julien would throw.
"Yes." nodded Private, a hint of fear in his voice. He cleared his voice and started again. "As tu have all noticed Julien has been much más depressed ever since the six mes anniversary." This earned a loud groan of disappointment.
"Oi, can we finish this up? Joey's getting cranky, and when Joey gets cranky, everyone pays." Joey stated. Joey was part of those who actually supported Julene. (A/N: I don't know what I was thinking at the time when I made him support this couple...)
"Right." Private gulped. "Anyone have an idea on how to cheer him up?"
"Oh, oh, oh! Me!" shouted Becky. Without waiting to be called on, she continued, "Julien should go out with Marlene!"
"That's what I was thinking!" exclaimed Stacy.
"Julien and Marlene, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G." the two chanted. The chameleons sitting siguiente to them started flashing colors.
"What did they say?" asked Stacy.
"They said, 'You do know that Skipper's dating Marlene right?'" translated Maurice.
"Of course we know that!" exclaimed Becky.
"We just need them to break up." added Stacy.
"But we can't do that." chimed Private. "I want Skipper and Marlene to be happy, too." After the animales thought for a second, one of the bunnies (who wanted Julien, their 'king' to be happy) spoke up.
"I have an idea!" Muffy said. "What if we throw a surprise party for our king?"
"Oooo, yeah!" agreed Buffy. "A party!" she paused for a second. "About what?"
"How about a Madagascar themed party?" suggested Muffy.
"Oh, that sounds like fun!" agreed Becky and Stacy.
"Everyone who agrees say, 'Aye.'" Private said.
"Aye!" everyone in the room agreed.
"Then it's settled. We'll arrange a surprise party for Julien." Private announced.
"Meeting adjourned." Maurice dicho afterwards. They all left to their habitat as soon as he dicho that.
