It was the summer of 2017. This summer was a little sad, but it also had happy points. Early in the summer, I was sitting in my bedroom. I heard the doorbell ring, and I heard my uncle say "I'll get it." I then heard an unfamiliar voice say "Would tu be willing to take this puppy? My son doesn't want her. I intended for her to be a gift for his tenth birthday, but he threw her against the wall. He probably broke her leg." My uncle said, "And tu didn't take her to the vet?!" The unfamiliar voice said, "No." My uncle said, "You know what, I'll gladly take this perrito, cachorro from you! Now, get off of my property before I reportar tu for animal cruelty!" I went downstairs to see what was going on. My aunt came up to my uncle. "Honey, what's wrong?" she asked. He was holding a Siberian Husky perrito, cachorro in his arms. He said, "Either we're getting this puppy, o I'm going to kill somebody." My aunt said, "I think we're getting this puppy." The perrito, cachorro was red and white and had one brown eye and one blue eye. I put my hand near her nose. She sniffed my hand and excitedly licked it. I said, "I think we should take River to a vet." My uncle looked confused. "River?" I said, "That'll be her name. Look at how spirited she is." We took her to the vet, and her leg wasn't broken. It was just bruised. She did make a complete recovery. Fluffy, my Collie, became a mother figure to the pup. Sadly, Fluffy passed away right before I went on vacation. I still miss her, but I'm doing okay. I did enjoy my vacation. Glenn looked after my remaining perros while I was gone. They got on well with his dog, Piper, a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. In August, we started school again. It started off badly. I got bullied in English class. I didn't think I'd be able to switch my schedule to avoid them, but I talked with the guidance counselor. She said, "You could switch to Honors English. Now, Honors English won't give tu any más credit than regular English. The only difference is tu work a little harder." I said, "I know, but I'm desperate." She said, "I know. tu don't need to be bullied." My schedule was switched around, and I ended up having classes with my friends. I also ending up having Government under the US History teacher I had last year. Unfortunately, the bullies who picked on me at the beginning of the año beat Glenn up. He was okay, though. All in all, twelfth grade has been going well so far. I do look adelante, hacia adelante to graduating high school.

After Everett received his discharge papers and his crutches, Una asked him, "Are tu hungry?" He said, "Yes, very." She said, "Okay. We'll get something to eat, then I'll take tu home." After they ate cena at a burger joint, they went back to Everett's apartment. Una decided to stay with Everett so that she could help him with whatever he needed. Mrs. Stratton approved of Una's decision. Everett's knee healed in a few days. After that, he and Una decided that they would start planning their wedding. It is a día that they are both looking adelante, hacia adelante to.

Una, Everett, and Kaitlyn had cena at a nice restaurant. As they ate, Una asked, "So, Kaitlyn, what are tu majoring in?" Kaitlyn replied, "Well, I'm a biology major. I'm hoping to be a veterinarian." Una said, "You're an animal lover. That's great!" Kaitlyn said, "Yes, I've always been an animal lover. How about you?" Una replied, "Well, I always wanted a dog, but my mother is highly allergic. With that being said, I'm so busy with acting, I'm not sure I'd have time for one now." Kaitlyn said, "That's true. perros do require a lot of attention. I'm hoping to get one after I finish with veterinary school and get más settled." Everett smiled as he listened to Una and Kaitlyn's conversation. He was happy to see that they were getting along so well. He thought, This is wonderful. I think it'll work if Una and I decide to get married.

"What do tu mean?" Una once again prepared to listen. Everett replied, "While my immediate family was supportive of my dream to go into film editing, not everyone was kind. Lots of people told me that I couldn't do it: most of my schoolmates, some teachers, even my extended family." She said, "How awful!" He said, "I know, but I didn't let that keep me down. My father even told me that I should go for it, no matter what anyone says. I looked at different film schools, and I got accepted into one that is fairly close to where I grew up. Upon graduating, I started preparing to go to film school. I started that fall, and I got a job at the local cena, comedor to help my parents cover the apartment rent." Una added, "And that's where we met." Everett smiled. "Yes, Una. My life only got brighter from there." She said, "Aw! I say the same to you, Everett." With that, they kissed.
