As I was making my way back home, I didn't notice that my shoelaces were untied. I didn't care either. I tripped and fell. Just then, someone helped me up and asked, "Are tu all right?" I said, "Yeah. Why do tu care?" He said, "I was just making sure tu weren't hurt. That's all." I said, "Sure. You'll act like tu care, and then, you'll go waltzing to Louise just like everybody else!" He said, "I'm sorry. Who's Louise?" I looked at him, and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize tu were new here." He said, "There's no hard feelings." He spoke in an English accent. He appeared to be about twelve years old. He had long, brown hair that whipped in the wind. His eyes appeared to be changing color. They kept changing from green to light brown and back again. He appeared to be concerned about me. I said, "I guess I'll be going." He noticed the blood stain appearing on my pants leg. He said, "You're hurt." I said, "I'll be fine." He said, "But you're bleeding." He urged me to follow him to his house. He asked, "What's your name?" I said, "My name's Quinn. What's yours?" He said, "Gavin." I asked, "What part of England are tu from?" He said, "I lived in the English countryside for most of my life, but I was born in Liverpool." I said, "Cool!" His parents were so nice. His mother even helped me wash my wounds. She asked, "Are tu hungry, Quinn?" I said, "Yes, I am. I haven't eaten since breakfast." Gavin's father looked at me curiously. "What about lunch?" I said, "Some bullies took my lunch money from me. They threatened to beat me if I didn't hand it over." Gavin said, "That's awful." I said, "I know. If that isn't bad enough, my sister beats me when my parents aren't around." He was deeply touched. After dinner, he asked, "Would tu like me to walk tu home?" I said, "No. I know what I'll be coming inicial to, because my parents are gone for the night." His mother said, "All right. tu can stay." I soon fell asleep on the couch. They covered me with a blanket so that I could stay warm. I could hear Gavin saying, "She seems sad, like she needs a friend." His mother said, "I think tu could be that friend."
I haven't written any artículos on my fan club in a while. I felt like escritura a eulogy about my dog, Fluffy. Fluffy was my segundo female dog. I remember when I got her. My aunt and uncle and I were visiting with my grandmother's sister in Florida. One of her neighbors happened to be breeding Smooth collie puppies. I took one of them inicial with me, and I named her Fluffy for the sake of being ironic. She was the most vocal of all the perros I've had. She was also very motherly. When we adopted Roxy, my Pit Bull, Fluffy accepted the pup as her own. She did the same with my Rottweiler, Stone, and with my newest dog, River. When my first dog, Diesel, passed away, Fluffy grieved más than the other dogs, save for Sadie, my Labrador. Fluffy grieved really hard when we lost Sadie a año ago. Fluffy was really smart, too. She knew hundreds of words and phrases, and I cannot possibly name all of them. I miss her very much, and so does everyone else. I'll never forget her. May she rest in peace.
It was close to Christmas. The members of New Religion decided to go spend time was their families. Sadly, Erin's grandmother passed away. It was devastating for Erin. When New Religion picked up their tour, many people wanted to interview Erin. Lola said, "She lost a loved one. How do tu think she's doing?!" Carl said, "Erin needs time to mourn her grandmother. She doesn't need a microphone in her face." Paul said, "She's been through so much. Leave her alone!" Erin thanked her friends for standing up for her. She later said, "I now know how Paul McCartney felt after John Lennon got shot." Lola hugged her. Things did get better for Erin with time. She lost so many she loved, but she kept going and never gave up.
No Stable Place
Aside from Uncle Bob, the only other family members who paid me any mind were my grandparents. My grandfather passed away about a año and a half after my father's untimely death. My grandmother lived until I started high school. When she was alive, I could always go to her with a problem. Every time I would have a bad día at school, I would go to her. She would say, "Tell me what's wrong, John." I would tell her what was wrong, and she would make everything better. When she passed away when I started high school, I was devastated. Now I had no one to go to when I had a bad day. That's when my record listening became más frequent. Other than my dog, Beatle, it was my only fuente of comfort. I really missed having a person to talk to. I missed having someone who listened to me. When he wasn't working, I could call Uncle Bob and talk to him, but it wasn't the same. Grandma seemed to have an answer for everything. Nobody else seemed to have that gift.
