I was beginning to lose hope in the idea of finding a friend. One day, something amazing happened. I saw that I was getting new neighbors. I saw a kid there who appeared to be around my age. I decided to go over and talk to him. I said, "Hi, I'm Winter. It's nice to meet you." He said, "Hi, Winter. I'm George. It's nice to meet you, too." I noticed he had a bit of an accent. I said, "That's a nice accent tu have there." He said, "Thank you. I'm from Liverpool, England." I said, "Like the Beatles?!" He said, "Yes." Another Beatles fan! I knew we would get along! I talked with him for a little while, and I then said, "I guess I better go, but it was nice talking to you." He said, "It was nice talking to you, too." The siguiente day, I got on the bus to go to school. When George got on, he looked around. I looked up at him and said, "You can sit with me if tu want to." He said, "Thank you." He sat beside of me. We talked and learned that we had a lot of the same interests. Later at school, I saw some kids picking on him. I stood up to them, and they pushed me down the stairs. George helped me up and asked, "Are tu all right?" I said, "Yeah." He thanked me for standing up for him, and just like that, we became friends. We had a few bumps in the road, but we still remained friends. We were connected por our amor of música and the forces of friendship. We found each other, and it became the longest-lasting friendship of my life. We are best friends to this day....best friends forever.

Peaceandlove67 They really are. I know they're a cliche, but I love happy endings. A lot of movies and stories end like this. "A rock falls. Everyone dies. The end." It leaves me thinking, "I sat here for two hours just for that?!"

During the 4th of July celebration in Oak Ridge, the members of New Religion decided to take Klondike out with them to get him used to noise and crowds.
