\'Outlander\'s\' Sam Heughan rocked the L.A. Marathon while Caitriona Balfe cheered on

Still in town after "Outlander\'s" spin at Paleyfest, Sam Heughan put on his running gear and ran 26.2 miles on Sunday (March 15) in the 2015 L.A. Marathon.

Even better, Heughan  ran in support of Leukemia and Lymphoma research and managed to raise more than $30,000 for the cause. Oh, and he was able to run the race with an unofficial time of three hours and 35 minutes without breaking a sweat. (Note: He probably broke a sweat. It was very hot in Los Angeles Sunday.)

Of course, the only thing more awesome than Heughan running to raise money for an important cause is the fact that his co-star, Caitriona Balfe, was on the sidelines to cheer him on. Luckily for Claire and Jamie fans, the result was some absolutely amazing photos of the actors being best friends.
