I have seen fans hate on Brooke because of the Nathan/ Brooke sex tape and I have seen people hate on Peyton for the Lucas/ Peyton cheating scandal. And because of those two reasons, people say one is better than the other and discard one of these two reasons. I believe they have screw each other over a few times but neither of them is better than the other one. They're best friends and best friends have their faults, everyone does!

I do like Peyton's character more though, just because I can relate to her, but Brooke is still great!

IMO, peyton is better. not only do i think that brooke screwed up more often than peyton did, but i feel like brooke took her screw ups to a whole other level than peyton, AND risked her friendship with peyton over shallow/superficial things. whereas it took being IN LOVE for peyton to even think about risking breyton's friendship. all of brooke's screw ups, and attempts to hurt peyton were intentional. peyton never meant to hurt brooke. period.

I'd like to say that I don't think either of them is better than the other, but I'd be lying. They're both good people, ofcourse. But I much prefer the path that Peyton took throughout the series, over the path that Brooke took.

I love Brooke, I do. And as she grew up she turned into an amazing person. But at the end of the day, I was disappointed (even appauled at times) in Brooke way more often than I was disappointed in Peyton. I think Brooke let her vengeful, spiteful, childish colors show a little too often throughout the series. I would almost consider her as a bully at times. She stooped to all time lows, and seemed to actually enjoy it. Unlike Peyton, who more often than not, took the high road, and along the way never meant to hurt a soul.

But again, all of this is referring to the OLD, high school version of Brooke. Ofcourse she grew out of it. But when I weigh the pros and cons of each character as a whole... Brooke definitely has more cons than Peyton does. Atleast in my book, anyway.

When it comes to choosing, I love Brooke (even if she makes some mistakes) but there are times that I cant stand Peyton and others that I like her a lot...

hmm. how do you figure? peyton screwed up by cheating twice. thats it. that truly is just about the only mistake that she's ever made. not to mention that she made every effort to correct those mistakes, or end them for the sake of not hurting anybody.

brooke on the other hand lied to, and manipulated multiple people to get what she wanted in S1 (lucas), all the while just wanting him for shallow reasons, mind you. intentionally caused trouble for naley in the very same episode. lied to lucas about being pregnant. SLEPT with nathan 5 minutes after him and peyton broke up. spent 4 seasons being a hypocrite about it, and hiding it from both peyton and haley. slept with chris keller, after declaring that lucas was supposedly "the one" for her. specifically asked lucas to insult peyton when they were together. put flyers up all over town of rachel's childhood picture. made fun of the deaths of both of peyton's moms. cut peyton out when peyton needed her the most, all because she was honest with her. made false, ridiculous accusations about her and lucas' friendship ("screwing her leftovers"). went out of her way to use props, and be a bitch towards peyton for no reason. USED lucas just to spite her. mocked peyton being attacked by psycho derek. was a brat to lucas in S4, made low blows towards him, and refused to even be civil with him, again just out of stubborness and for no real reason.

...do i really need to continue? all of that (plus more)...in comparisson to peyton cheating twice, with the boy that she was IN LOVE with? which she later apologized for, both times, and did everything she could to make up for it? which brooke never did, for hardly any of her mistakes, BTW. when it comes down to it, all you really need to do is compare peyton's intentions in her actions, with brooke's intentions. peyton will win every time. and to me, THAT is what defines the kind of person that they are.

Both of them is Amazing,even Peyton is my Favorite out of them,i LOVE her season 1-6, and when she is gone, Brooke have become my Favorite,i Adore her:D. Both of them have do theirs mistakes,but i think none of them is worst or better that the other one:D

To be honest, I like Haley more than both of them. :)
